The 10‑Minute Reset: One Small Shift That Changes Your Week A micro‑habit session. You guide people through choosing one tiny action that will make Monday feel lighter — a 10‑minute tidy, a 10‑minute walk, a 10‑minute planning ritual.
This Saturday spark session for the week ahead is about microhabits. Condense your. 10 minutes of meditation. It works like a charm because it all wins over the course of the week. Two Sunday spark sessions, Saturday Spark Session and Sunday Spark Session.
James Clear: utilize microhabits to get more done in less time when you're feeling overwhelmed. Condense whatever that task is that you're trying to do. See if you can do it in 10 minutes. And I'll try and do an AM Sunday spark session as well.
Good evening. Good evening. Cadre 8:00pm Pacific I just realized I worked out earlier with my wife and we did yoga and I just realized it's actually Saturday today. So this live was really brief and I'll do another one tomorrow for Sunday spark session. But you're getting two Sunday spark sessions, Saturday Spark Session and Sunday Spark Session. So I'll keep it brief. This Saturday spark session for the week ahead, which is normally on Sunday is about microhabits. So when you're feeling like you're, you're behind the eight ball.
When you're feeling like you, you don't want to do anything. Condense your. It's. Give it a go. 10 minutes of meditation. It works like a charm because it all wins over the course of the week. The months, the leading big wins. So when we trim it down, trim down the time that we have to do something and, but then we actually then helps us. It makes the, the gateway to entry so low that it creates a small win. Right. And then we keep doing that really, oh I can do more, I can do more. And then that the time will slowly accumulate.
How much time we put into that, whatever our craft is. And another thing for me is I know I need to spend more time with mobility because mobility and yoga is like a part of mindfulness, right. Winding down for the end of the day. So when I do these things it really helps with the mind and it helps recover the body. So in our minds and our bodies need that drop in cortisol. So that's why we just did. We, we did an intense workout which brought our heart rate up to here and then the yoga, 10 minutes of just shoulder and shoulder and what we do, shoulder and wrist, wrist.
Because my wife's a hydrogenist so she gets really sore wrists right. From, from just her, her, her day to day work and wrist focused yoga. Right. Certain things, whatever applies to you could be 10 minutes of steady, could be 10 minutes, 10 minute walk. Right. You're not always going to have the time or you're not always going to feel like doing a full hour or full half hour. You're going to be like oh God, I don't want to do that much. You don't have to microhabit. James Clear, the author of Atomic Habits TBMC welcome live.
Thanks for tuning in again. I got one more minute because I got a shower up because we just worked out but. And originally this was supposed to be Sunday spark sessions like I said but utilize microhabits to get more done in less time when you're feeling overwhelmed. When you're feeling stressed, you don't have to do a lot. You just have to do a little, which can turn into a lot. So that's all I wanted to say. Have a fast, fabulous Saturday evening. I totally forgot it was Saturday today. And I'll try and do an AM Sunday spark session as well.
So food for thought. Condense whatever that task is that you're trying to do. See if you can do it in 10 minutes or do part of a task in 10 minutes. Thank me later. Ciao.
