What is going on cadre. It's your boy, Alex from mindset, helping me flex your mind, body and soul. We got our Starbucks pike place. With oat milk. My favorite coffee drink from Starbucks. Absolutely love it. And I was trying to post this live the other day, but I just couldn't get the timing to work. So posting it right now. To 9 45, 9 40 4:00 AM Pacific. Um, it's a rainy Wednesday. We just had some tons of rain there for, for a few minutes and then it's already died down already. Um, but it got me thinking.

Uh, about consistency. About, um, putting in the reps, putting in the volume, putting in, you know, posting the. Video, no matter how many, um, how many people view it or not. Um, and, uh, we all go through phases where we're. Mega consistent, then we might be inconsistent. Then we're mega consistent again, then we're inconsistent. So. Um, helping provide encouragement. Got me thinking don't don't break the streak. I, I, I love, uh, creating streaks. Streaks, uh, most people like to not break the chain.

Right. And Jerry Seinfeld, uh, famous comedian. Uh, the Seinfeld show. One thing that he did, which really resonated with me, which I wanted to share with y'all. Was, he would write on his calendar. Like, so he would write on his calendar. Big red X. For every day that he came up with the new jokes. And he would do that over and over. And over and over and over again. Bigger red X day after day, month after month, week after week, year after year. And he kept continually doing that. Cuz he didn't want to break the streak.

And he talks about it in a podcast. He is been on an interviews. Interviews. That's why he was so successful. That's why he's was, uh, it was all built. On top of his consistency. Um, and then his effort was spread out over a really long period of time. So he didn't. Didn't he wasn't like it was a marathon and it always is a marathon with when we're creating content. When we're. Doing these lives when we're posting videos. Videos. Um, and I'm highly caffeinated too. So anytime I come up with an idea, it just gotta share it with you guys.

So don't break the streak. Find ways not to break the streak. The nicest thing today is whether you. You want to write down in your journal of how many times you wanna train per week? How many days you wanna meditate per. Week, um, uh, it could be again, meditation journaling, uh, be applied to cooking. You want to. Eat healthy five, six days a week. Doesn't matter what your goal is. Doesn't matter what your dreams are. Um, they all require the same thing, a little bit of effort, a little bit of consistency.

And a little bit of, um, you know, serendipitous. Uh, you know, throwing some serendipitous moments or spontaneity. Um, rolling with things and then it really, really will make a massive. Massive difference in your life. It's made a massive difference in my life. Anytime I've fallen. Off my consistency. I, I feel it. Um, but when I'm back on the consistency train, when I don't want to break a streak, I like, like cadre has it built into our app now, which I love. Don't break the streak. It shows I've, I've posted for one day in a row, two days in a row, three days in a row, four days.

In a row five days in a row, when you see that chain. Whether that's written on paper or digital format or on your calendar. I'm telling you it's a game changer. And you don't need motivation then, and you don't need your willpower. You're literally just showing up continuously over and over and over again. And that the, the snowball keeps. Growing the snowball keeps growing the spokes in that bike. Right. Whatever. Um, whenever something gets into motion, it normally stays in motion. It takes a lot of energy to get that thing in motion, but once it's in motion, boom, the spokes of the.

Tire keep going the spokes of the tire. Keep spinning. So it requires way less effort, way less willpower, way less motivation. Because we can't rely on willpower, motivation alone. They're helpful, but they get used up. It's like, like for instance, I had to switch and do a 180 on I'm doing a course. I'm. I'm trying to get back into banking. I'm in insurance right now, insurance. Uh, my job for insurance, it, it hasn't been working. Um, I've been in it almost four years and. Some, some things happened and.

Um, it's just, it's not my passions. My, my passions is not there for it. So I have, I have to pivot. Sometimes you have to pivot and go a different direction. Right? Life's all about taking different paths, right? And our, and the, and also our growth trajectory is not always linear as well. Right. We're gonna have some super. Big growth spurts. We're really, really consistent. And then boom, and then we plateau and then we gotta find a way to get plastic. That plateau or get past that hurdle. And then sometimes, right.

So it's like, we'll reach like a, we'll be like this. Boom plateau. And then we might have a little dip and then we'll and then we'll grow again. Boom. A little plateau. We're trying to figure out a way up, up again, around it could be financial. Uh, emotional, like health, health wise, whatever the case may be. But the point I'm trying to make is. Um, consistent, like as long as we stay consistent overall. Right. We monitor our pace, something I've been really working on and I've been telling you guys is.

Finding ways to Mo to, um, slow down, right. I'm gonna become a dad. My wife's gonna become a mom in, uh, approximately February 10th when we have her baby boy. Which we're super stoked about, but in order for me to be more present in order me to show up as the best dad possible. I needed to dial things back. I needed to change my pace. My pace is too frenetic, too. Frantic too intense. And I don't need to do that. I would rather have much. More methodical, slow. Intentional, um, slow down pace because you know what, like the tortoise.

And the hair, the race of the tortoise and the hair, the tortoise ended up winning because he just kept going. He. Just kept going one step after another, after another, after another. And this analogy and that story can be applied to the Jerry Seinfeld story can be applied to any story. For almost anyone that's been successful. So if you're going through a tough time right now, if you've like, man, I'm trying to be consistent. I have been consistent. Or have fallen off the wagon. I've done it multiple times.

I do it multiple times. Per month per year, per quarter. But as long as we keep showing up, we keep getting back to the drawing board. We keep being like, this is my vision. This is my goal. This. Is what I want to do, no matter what. As long as we keep coming back, we keep showing up great things are gonna happen, cuz there's gonna be a video boom or. A live that just pops off, that people resonate with that they just you're exuding passion. And then they just. They just relate with it. They just relate with the information.

They find the information valuable. They. Find you got some pizzazz in there. You got some, you got some personality, right? You're relatable. You're vulnerable. You're you're showing up to show people that. Hey, they matter. Um, uh, what they do matters, who they are matters. Where the going matters, right? Everyone's dreams. Everyone's hopes everyone's aspirations. Matter and the way that we. Work towards those. We, we show up, we don't break the streak. We stay consistent. We keep doing the things.

And we keep doing the hard things, right. Um, and I saw another. Amazing clip, uh, there, like the, the guy that does a school of hard knocks on YouTube. I watch those clips from time to time. They're really motivational and, uh, and it, he says, when he interviews people, he is like, oh, like, what are you doing? How do you do it? How'd you become a millionaire? How much. Does your net worth all that kind of stuff? Um, just as, this is just an example, right? And then he, and then there was a woman that was super successful.

I can't remember what kind of brand she had, but. She basically said uh, easy decisions, hard life, hard decisions, easy life. And I was like, damn, that's that's powerful. So the harder a decision you have to make. The easier your life becomes the easier the decisions you have to make the harder. Your life becomes so keep that in mind, keep building on your, your consistency streak. The Cadry app. If your contributor. Has that built in, if you're a viewer of this content? Um, whether you're trying to read more, read more, whether you're trying to train more, whether.

You're trying to eat healthier. Use these tools that are built into these apps. Or writing down on piece of paper or, or in a word document or in Excel document. However you'd like to do. It or on the calendar, like I showed you. Um, super helpful. Super helpful visual, cuz you know, at the end of the day, we want to see a visual. Well, I wanna have a visual progression of where we're at in the week and the months and the years. Right. Because we have this, let's say we got this big lofty goal, this big grand vision.

We have to reverse engineer that. Big visions, big goals. Start small. So hopefully I enjoy this live. Um, I'll be doing as many lives as I possibly can throughout the days and weeks to come. And as soon as I there's availability in there in the time slot. Because it doesn't let me go, go live at random times. It's at fixed times now with our, with our, uh, live scheduler in the app. So. I will do a post when I go live to try and notify you guys. When I go live, it'll be a mix. Of in the evening, late evenings, early mornings.

Mornings, uh, midday, even if I, if I can fit in as well. So it's a mid Thursday day off for me. Hopefully enjoy this live. I'm enjoying my pike place with oat milk. And thank you for joining this quick coffee chat with me and I, hopefully you guys gain. Some value from this. Um, and one thing I wanted to say. How do you keep your streak going? What tools or strategies do you use to stay consistent when times get tough? When you wanna. Give up or when you just don't want to keep going. Let me know in the comments, let me know.

What you do to stay consistent? No matter what, let me know. Love to hear from you. All right. And as always. May be happy, maybe healthy. Maybe a peace, peace cadre fam take care.
