Good Friday afternoon, Cadre. How are we doing out there? I hope, I hope, hope, hope you're doing great. My name is JC. I'm coming to you from Sydney, Australia, where it is currently 6 in the morning on Saturday. Coming to you from the future. And I hope you're doing great. But if you're not, here's your daily reminder that that's okay too. You are still incredibly capable, still incredibly worthy. And even though it may be kind of that tired part of a Friday right now, you still have the capacity to do the things you feel moved to do.

So go do it. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. I went on a day tour yesterday and one of the stops was to a wildlife like preserve where animals get to live and be taken care of and all the things and people get to learn about them so we can be better at supporting other species on this planet where a lot of times we're not that great at doing that. And I got to see all the things you think you'd see in Australia. It's pretty fun. As an animal person, It gave me a lot of good energy while I'm far, far away from home.

And two things that kangaroos reminded me yesterday. So like the kangaroos, a lot of them get free reins of the park and you can feed them. So the little wallabies, there is these two who They were not coming up to humans, but they were hanging out with each other. And the one was like holding the other one. And the other one was like either tired or maybe sad. And the one's like, I got you. Like put its head on the other one. I think animals remind us that one of the best things we can do for our own mental health is to take time to think about those around us.

Because yes, it was so cute, but more so it was also like, that makes a lot of sense to me. Care for the people around you. And #2, a bunch of kangaroos in this other part of the preserve, they would be like, oh, we're around the humans, we're hanging out with the humans, we're getting some food and getting some pets. And all of a sudden they would go, I'm done. They would go far, far away from the humans where the humans couldn't go. And they'd face away from the humans and they would like take a break.

It's like they were putting themselves in the corner, but like the happy corner where all the cool kids want to be. Not like the I did something wrong corner. And it reminded me that humans, we need to take breaks. And we're the ones who need to tell us when we need to take a break. we need to say to ourselves, I need time right now. Bye. Because literally these kangaroos are like, yep, I'm done with y'all. Not necessarily because they did anything wrong. Like the humans weren't doing anything wrong.

They were giving them pets and treats. But because they needed time and they would whoop to the other side of the preserve. So my invitation for you today, care for those people around you and take breaks. That's what the kangaroos and the wallabies have for us today. And who am I to go ahead and try to figure out something better to tell you to do than what the kangaroos and the wallabies got? Y'all have a good rest of your Friday and I will see you tomorrow just like I am doing right now because where I am it is tomorrow.

See you later.
