Hey there, Cadre. How are we doing on this Thursday? I hope you are great. This is three days in a row you're getting a car. A car. A cardray today. The amount of times I've done Cadre todays for my car, you have not gotten that bad joke till right now. You got a car, Dre, today, me from the. From the automobile. I hope you're doing great. I really do. And if you're not, here's your reminder that you're still incredibly capable, incredible, worthy, incredibly potent. You're still going to be able to do some pretty amazing things today.
I'm really glad that I'm here. I'm really glad that you're here, Josh. I know the things that I know and I care about. You say those things inside your head anytime you hear them. Remember, that's what brings us together. Well, today I'm in a different car. You may see that looks like a palm tree right there. I think I am doing a little health check on my parents down in Florida for the rest of the week. So this is me and my rental car and I'm driving from my hotel to my parents place to, to say, hey, for the first time today.
You may be wondering, well, why don't you stay with your parents when you go down there? Because that's not enough space. I've often joked, but it's not a joke that me and my family are so close because we don't mess it up by spending too much time together. And people laugh uncomfortably and then they slowly move away from me because it sounds like I'm saying that there's a problem that we can't spend too much time together, otherwise we wouldn't be able to spend time together. That's the question that, that I put in the title today.
And how much space. How much space is perfect for you to be doing the things you want to do and need to do and are called to do and how much space you need to be around the people that you love and you care about. I think one of the things that often happens is we don't ask that question. We don't calibrate our space. So maybe we end up having too much time with someone and all of a sudden things go bad. Or maybe, you know, someone needs some air or needs the. The. The nook. Right. My dad had a.
A room down in the basement that was kind of his. It was a den kind of. But really it was his. Here's the space that I go to, he would say, to get away we would say the space that we send him, so we have space from. And even to the point I look at all of my relationships in my life, one of the first things I'm always asking myself is what's the right amount of space that is needed in between in order for us to grow, to root, to listen, to be authentic? That's my invitation for you today. Consider how much space you need between you and the project, you and the person, you and the job, you and the news, you and the thing you're working on.
Like, you need to be like. Like if you're. If you're watching. If you're watching how much and what you eat or how you move or yada, yada, yada, how much space from mind, from heart, from hands. Figure those things out, and you may find that that's one of the missing puzzle pieces and making things a little bit brighter. All right, Have a good Thursday. Hey, Carrie. Hey, Anna. Have a great one. We'll see you guys soon. Bye.
