It's been below zero for high temperatures in Minnesota for the last handful of days. When people react to your reaction, consider their reaction to how you are acting and responding. You may see a small change as a big change.
Cadre: Everything is relative. It's been below zero for high temperatures in Minnesota for the last handful of days. When people react to your reaction, consider their reaction to how you are acting and responding. You may see a small change as a big change.
Hey, Cadre, how are we doing on this Tuesday? I hope you're doing great. I'm sitting in the automobile getting ready to walk into a meeting. And it's one of my favorite things about Cadre, right? Whether we are in our Sunday best and sitting in front of a ring light or whether we're sitting in our car moving from one thing to the next thing, Cadre allows us to be where we are and to meet you where you are at. So wherever you are, no matter how you are doing, I hope you're doing well. Anna, nice to see you.
I'm glad that I'm here. I'm glad that you're here. I know the things I know. Chris Fortman. And I care about you. Cafe Marisa. I care about you all y'. All. I care about you. And every single time you hear those 17 words, I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. Chris Shannon, I hope you say those things in your head as well, because that's the, that's the magic in the ether. That's what brings us together. The fact that we risk to be in one space with one another.
Mike, nice to see you this morning. You know, everything is relative. It's been below zero for high temperatures in Minnesota for the last handful of days. Cole. So you look at the weather and you go, oh, it's, it's 10 below for a high and 21 below for a low. And you go, and all of a sudden the high today is above zero. And undoubtedly you'll see people in my neck of the woods wearing less layers and talking about how warm it is. And if you're not from this neck of the woods, you may go, wow, you're nuts.
You'll see people wearing know not a coat. I'll be doing a, a health check on my parents down in, down in Florida later on this week. And it's going to be high of 50 degrees down there and I'll be the one walking around in, in shorts and a T shirt and people will look at me going like it's freezing. Everything is relative. You know, I often say in my, in my storytelling and music direction part of my world that loud isn't loud because it's loud. Loud is loud because it's compared to soft. I don't need to get louder in order to get louder.
I can let my loud stay here. And all I have to do is make my quiet quieter because then when I'm this Loud and this quiet. All of a sudden, that loud becomes loud. We get used to what we experience. We get used to what we experience. We get used to what we experience. So sometimes when something changes, that change can feel really, really big. Why? Because it's all relative. When people react to your reaction, take a moment, and this is my invitation today, take a moment to consider their reaction to how you are acting and responding and go, huh?
Yeah. They don't know that I'm used to X. So now that it's Y, they're going, you're out in left field. You're wrong. And you're going, I'm simply reacting and responding to the life I've been living and the life I'm living now. You may see a small change as a big change. One of my favorite songs is by a country band from the late 90s called Blackhawk, and they have a song called It's Just About Right. And the chorus goes like this. Your blue might be gray. You. Your less might be more. Your window to the world might be your own front door.
Your shiniest day might come in the middle of the night. That's just about right. Anytime people are making you feel like a weirdo, check yourself. Are you celebrating the warmth today? Because it's 7 degrees and they're going, you're nuts. And you're going, yeah, but I've been living in the 30 below. And they go, huh? Now, that makes sense. You don't have to make it make sense to them, but sometimes it'll make more sense to you if you have someone that you can go, you know, here's what I'm experiencing and how I'm responding to it.
And they may go, you're still kind of crazy. And you go, yeah, but that's just about right. Y' all have a great day. I will see you tomorrow. If you're up in Minnesota, enjoy the warm weather. Peace.
