A word doesn't mean something until you decide what it means. If you wanted to mean that thing to somebody else, you need to connect with them.
A word doesn't mean something until you decide what it means. If you wanted to mean that thing to somebody else, you need to connect with them. Some of my leaders will use words in a way that lowers the value of the word. Are you putting yourself behind in the game because the words that you're using are negative?
Sometimes I'm right and I can be wrong. My own beliefs are in my song. The picture, the thinker, the drummer, and then makes no difference what group I'm in. Everyday people, Good morning. Chris Fortman and Andy Mack. Waving with the fat one, trying to be a skinny one. Everyday People by Sly and Family Stone is one of the best songs of all time. Discuss. It really is a great song for the world we're living in today, the world we were living in yesterday, and probably the world that we're going to be living in as long as we're living in this world.
Jules, nice to see that's why Cadre is so important. If you ask me things. And here's the other thing about vessels. Until you place something in them, that's not a water bottle, It's a bottle. The only thing that makes it a water bottle is if you put water in it. You want to know what else is the vessel. A word. A word doesn't mean something until you decide what it means. If you wanted to mean that thing to somebody else, you need to connect with them. So I do a lot of executive coaching, and some of my leaders will use words in a way that really lowers the value of the word and lowers the value of the person saying them.
You know, someone yesterday said to me and said, well, I guess I just don't know. And I was like, think about how you just said that. You are a leader of lots of people in a very big company. I guess I just don't know. What I hear in that is, I don't know the thing. And that makes me not powerful. That makes me a person who does not have any control. And I, I suggest him. Like, what if you said this, hey, you know, I don't know what's going to be the response. Oh, you don't know that. Well, that's a problem.
So let's fix it. You don't know that. Well, I assume you did. Thank you for letting me know. Thank you for courageously saying, I need more information. It changes simply because of what you put in the vessel of the word. And that's not only like what you say the word means, but it's how you deliver it. So I invite you today to listen to the way that words leave your face. Are you putting yourself behind in the game because the words that you're using, the way that you're using them are saying, I, I don't have power.
I don't have control. I don't want to connect. I don't. I don't want people near me. I don't want to be in community. I'm not curious. I'm not courageous. I'm defeated. Like, is that what the words that you're using, the way that you're using them is Creating the ear that's receiving them, but more importantly, in the heart that's in your chest. Because if all of a sudden, the only words that you are consuming are constantly negative, constantly heavy, constantly putting yourself down, that may be part of the reason why you're feeling those things.
Y', all, I hope you have a really, really great day. And in the meantime, a little slide and play. I am no better, and neither are you. We are the same. Whatever we do. You love me, you hate me, you know me, and then you can't figure out what bag I'm in. Sa. Sam.
