We are healing today. Healing requires a time where you can pause and truly reflect Healing. It's a slow process, and we don't always see healing take place. And healing is something we should do regularly.
So, Jules, you said love feels like a warm, sunny day in the beach. It feels like that sense of peace and new beginnings. Love feels like hearing the birds sing in the morning. You ready for another one?
Cadre: What is one thing you want to do with your friend or partner? Healing looks like dreaming. Healing is the process of beginning something new. Jules: What would your book be called? A retreat to Costa Rica. Hold yourself accountable.
Lessons I Learned in Public Safety. What could in a relationship. Companies, businesses, individuals need your lessons. When you share, you add value, and iron sharpens iron. Write it. Schedule your dates, move forward in it.
We had three questions from the healing addition. We are focusing on taking time to reflect, to sit, to dream, to hope, to allow ourselves to recover. I encourage you to get some thought questions, get some cards, ask yourself these cards every once in a while. You won't regret it.
Hello, Cadre. Hello. Hello. Hello. Come on in. Happy Wednesday. Come on in. I'm gonna play us some music. Come on in. Happy Wednesday. How are you feeling? How are you feeling, Cadre? I'm trying to find the right song for us. Something upbeat. Hello, Jules. Hello. All right, we're gonna play some upbeat music. I hope you're ready for this. Good morning. Hello. Speak Wonder. Speak Wonder. I love your segment last week about our wor and where they go. Thank you for that. Thank you, Jules. I have to hear it from your.
Your segment one day. So today I'm feeling good. Today is Wednesday. This is my favorite artist. His name is Forest Frank and his song is called we not taking, called no Ls, which means we're not losing. So I just wanted to play some ugly music today. All right. Yes. Big wonder. It was really cool how you had all those notes and comments. I was like, man, she got some nuggets. You had some really good nuggets and really made me think and just be mindful of my word. So thank you. Thank you for all who contribute on Cadre.
We may not always be live with you, but we. I do watch some of the repeats and it is a blessing. This is an amazing app, you know, and if you ever feeling down or need a pick me up or inspiration or just some hope, I just encourage you all to go back and look, review, listen, read the post and the text that's posted on the different chats, the Cadre chats. And so it is good. It is. This is a really good place. And so I just want to encourage you all to participate and partake. Partake. Yeah. So today I'm excited.
You know, this month I don't have a thing. Last week I talked about compassion, but this month I don't have a theme but I do have. I am not a spokesperson, but I just wanted to share with you. These are called the. And. And this is the healing Edition. Yes, absolutely, Jules. We were all game changers. Yes. And the community were all game changers for me. Absolutely. So I will be intentional in finding you, Jules, so I can hear your contribution into the Cadre sphere, into the universe. Our words, they.
They don't just disappear. They don't disappear. So I just want to share. This is the. And the. And healing Edition. This has some really great think questions and cards. So it's a really big deck. Really big deck. And this one is called the healing edition. And because, you know, we are all healers, we are ones who empower, inspire and help individuals here Heal. I wanted to pull out some of the cards, and I want to ask you these questions to continue to promote healing. So last week, we talked about compassion.
I really don't have a theme, but if I would create a theme for the month of May, it will be healing. It will be healing. So the first question, I just want you guys to use the chat and to respond. What does love feel like? I want you to come respond in the chat. What does love feel like? So use your words. It can be descriptive. You can use emojis. What does love feel feel like? What does love feel like? If I would say what love feels like to me, it will feel like a warm cup of. Of a latte. It will feel cozy.
Love feels cozy to me. Love gives me a warm sensation and a sensation of, like, joy. Love feels like joy to me. What does love feel like? What does love feel like? All right, you ready for your next one? We are healing today. Healing requires time. Healing requires a time where you can pause and truly reflect Healing. Yes, Healing. It's a slow process, and we don't always see healing take place, but we know that it is taking place. And healing is something we should do regularly. It is something.
It's a practice of daily process. It's a daily, slow process of recovery. Yeah. So, Jules, you said love feels like a warm, sunny day in the beach. Yeah, absolutely. Absolutely. It's like that feeling of, like, the sun on your skin, your feet in the sand, hearing the waves, having a tropical drink next to you. Yeah, I can feel that. I can. I can understand and sense that sensation. I'm gonna say one more thing about love. Love feels like hearing the birds sing in the morning. It feels like that.
It feels like that sense of peace and new beginnings. Okay. You ready for another one? Okay. I have so many good questions. I'm sorry. All right, if you are in a relationship, I want you to answer this question. If you're in a relationship, like a romantic, it could be a friendship relationship as well. What's one thing you think I really want to do with you? If you're in a romantic or friendship or any form of, like, fun friendship, dating, relationship, marriage. What's one thing you think I really want to do with you?
So what is one thing you've been desiring to do with your friend or your partner? I like this. What is one thing you been thinking that you want to do with your friend or partner? What's one thing you really want to do with your friend or partner? I'm sitting. I'm Pausing, because I'm really thinking with you. One thing I would like to do with my husband, I would like to go on an adventure with him where we would. You know what I would really like to do? I would like to go on the Amazing Race with my partner.
Yes. So I'm. I'm curious to know and to hear from you all. What is one thing you want to do with your friend or partner? Healing looks like dreaming. Healing looks like wishing. Healing looks like taking time and thinking and carving out space so you can plan and hope for the future. Healing is recovery. Healing also looks like starting something new. So what is something new? What is something you've been wanting to do with your friend or partner? Healing is the process of new beginnings. We're doing this together today, Cadre.
Healing takes time. Healing is about recovery. Healing is the process of beginning something new. And I keep saying that because I'm thinking about, like, when I had a scab, a scar on my arm in that process. Like, it didn't look like it was healing, but as soon as my skin ruptured and it was bleeding, my body in the inside out was beginning the process of recovery, though I did not see it. But magically, when I woke up, I had a scab. The next day, the scab was gone. The day after that, I had new skin for me.
And so I just. I keep saying that over and over because I want you understand, like, this is what healing looks like. It is something new. It is a slow process. It is a progression. It does require you to dream and hope again. So when you think about your relationships, your day, yourself, we do have to pause. We do have to reflect. And we should ask ourselves these questions in our relationships, in the relationships we have with ourselves. So Jules says, take time to get away and enjoy each other.
I enjoy simple things like walks or going and having coffee. Spaces for great communication. Yeah. And I'm curious. Take it a step further, Jules, and speak Wonder and whoever else is on today to tell me what is something you've been really wanting to do with yourself? What is something you really want to do with yourself? For me, it is to go to the whole rainforest in Washington. I would really like to do that with myself. Just take a plane. It will be different. It will be out my. My comfort zone, but that will be something pretty magical for me.
So what is something you really wanted to do with yourself? What is something you've been wanting to do with yourself that you really want to do with yourself? But sometimes life and responsibilities, you know, they have its place. All right, I'll give us one more. I'm gonna go to the other side of the deck. Oh, yes. Oh. What would your book be called? Jules, what would your book be called? A retreat to Costa Rica. Why can't you do it? Do you have it on your books? Do you have that schedule? Like, there is nothing we can't do.
Nothing. Nothing. It. It may be out of the norm, but there's nothing we can't do. So when do you want to do this, Jules? Rachel, when do you want to do this? Look, I'm holding you accountable. I gotta hold myself accountable. Hold yourself accountable when you come on and you listen to the replay. Still respond in the chat. The lessons I've learned in public safety. Okay, I'm not sure what you're talking about, but lessons I've learned in public safety. Okay. All lessons I've learned in public safety.
Oh, okay, I get it now. It took me a minute. You responded to my last question about what was your book going to be about? Gotcha. Yes. We'll sell the date. Set a date. Set a date in when somebody else. Come on. Set a date. Set a date. All right, last question. What could in a relationship. That's the book title. Yeah. Lessons I Learned in Public Safety. Sounds like a very interesting topic. Write it. Somebody needs it. Companies, businesses, individuals need your lessons. When you share, you add value, and iron sharpens iron.
So jewels release it. Schedule your dates, move forward in it. Somebody needs to know your lessons so they can be safe, so they can know how to do things properly and learn from you. They need to learn. We learn from one another. You learn what to do, what not to do. So I just want to encourage you. And the last question is, what could you do less of? What could you do less of? What could you do less of? That's the last question. I kind of adjusted it for us. But. But what could we do less of? What could you do less of?
And I could do less of putting things off for the next day. So what can you do less of? Hmm. This is good. We had three questions from the healing addition. The. And. And the. And. And we are essentially saying, hey, we are focusing on healing today with ourselves. We are focusing on taking time to reflect, to sit, to dream, to hope, to allow ourselves to recover, and to be renewed by thinking, by using these questions. So I encourage you to get some thought questions, get some cards, ask yourself these cards every once in a while, just so your mind can be challenged, so your heart can be renewed, and you can think differently about your day, about your life, about your future.
So what can you do less of? I'll let that sit with you today. I hope this time together with you, you jewels, has been a delight, as it's been a delight for me. So hopefully it was a delight for you at it, as it has been for me and or anyone else that chime in or comment. Thank you so much and continue to participate and partake in the Cadre family. You won't regret it. This has been a very great platform to be a part of and so I'm glad that you're a part of it with me. You guys take care, continue to think, continue to heal, because you are worth it.
Take care of me.
