Put the time right now. Put it on the calendar. If you don't make time for yourself, nobody else will. Junk is going to be consistent.
Instead of having a happy hour, we're having wellness hour. Did you pour into yourself this past week? And if you did, what did you do? What are you gonna do this week?
We are intentionally pouring into the different buckets we have in our lives. What are you going to do to elevate your life? What will you do during your wellness hour? I'm going to hold you accountable.
Maravel: When are you gonna do it? Put the time right now. What time are you going to have that crucial conversation with your family member? We're not going to shrink. We're committing to ourselves. Put it on the calendar. This is our time.
Put it in the chat. I will not shrink. We're gonna show up for ourselves because we are not shrinking. If you don't make time for yourself, nobody else will. Junk is going to be consistent. You gonna be consistent this week? Absolutely.
Hi, Cadre. Happy Wednesday. Happy, happy Wednesday. Nice to see you. Welcome, welcome, welcome. It is an honor and a privilege to be with you. Come on in. My Cadre family. Happy Wednesday. This is Rachel. I am Rachel. And this is get to the roots with Rachel. As we get to the root of all types of subjects, our focus is mental health and God. And we mix those two things together, and we have healing. Good morning, Anne Marie. I hope I'm saying your name right. Good morning. It is a privilege to be with you today.
How are you doing? How are you doing? Last week, I put in the chat in one of the subgroups about having a wellness hour instead of a happy hour where we typically go to the bar and all that good stuff. That's cool. You know, that's what you do in. And I was suggesting having a wellness hour where we are intentionally, intentionally pouring into the various buckets of our lives. Right? We have seven buckets that we all have. And so I challenge all of you guys to. Are you a 10? Come on with it. I challenge you all to have a wellness hour.
So let me know. Did you have a wellness hour where you poured into one of your bucks. Buckets of life where you are either exercising intentionally, looking at your money and planning the next move, thinking and training yourself into another subject or matter or skill. Did you pour into yourself this past week? That's what I want to know. And if you did, what did you do? What did you do? Instead of having a happy hour, we're having wellness hour. And so did you pour into yourself this week? What did you do?
What I will tell you this week, I am. Well, I am preparing for half marathon, and this week, I walk farther than I've ever walked because I'm gonna do a walk run. And so I poured into myself by walking seven miles. It was good. So you. You were cooking and working out. Very good. Keep pouring in. Let this be in a lifestyle. Okay. That you put on your calendar every week and let people know. You can join me for my wellness hour or this can be a solo hour. Whatever feels right and good to you. Awesome.
Well, what are you gonna do this week? What's. What are you gonna do during your wellness hour? And I've been creative with it. I said, hey, I will. I'll look at my calendar, and I will see when I can go, when I can have my. My wellness hour. And so this week, I'm gonna go a little bit further in my wellness hour. My plan. What's up, junk food junkie? My plan is to walk 13. My plan is to walk 13 miles. That is my plan. So that's gonna, that's what I'm gonna do. My wellness hour. We're talking about wellness hours.
Junk food junkie. And how we are intentionally. What's up, Nikki? We are intentionally pouring into the different buckets we have in our lives. And so I want to know, what are you going to do during your wellness hour? What are you going to do, Nikki, where you say, you know what? I'm carving out this 60 minute frame block of time to either pour into my mind, my body, soul, spirit, career, legacy, family, friends, community. We have so many buckets. What are you gonna do this week? This is what this conversation is all about.
Accountability. We are on Cadre for a reason. We are on Cadre to elevate our mind, to increase our self worth, to develop our self esteem, to deal with grief, to find hope, to find joy. This is why we are on Cadre. This is why I'm on Cadre. Because you know what? I need my bucket field every day. And every day someone is on Cadre, pouring out. So I want to know, how are you going to pour back in? So pick a bucket. Pick an area of your life and I want you to put it in the chat and I'm going to hold you accountable.
What are you going to do to elevate your life? What will you do during your wellness hour? You deserve it. News flash. You deserve it. You deserve it. Let me tell you a secret as I was trying to figure out, okay, where would this wellness hour go? I know my schedule. I wake up at this time, kids get ready, I get ready. I start my counseling practice. We go into about 5ish, right? Then I gotta go do drop the kids off to practice and then it's dinner and da da da da da da da. So I said, when I'm gonna do this wellness hour?
Because it seemed like my hours are already full, right? And so I said, well, Rachel, you got to take something off this calendar because you matter. I said to myself, nikki and junk food junkie, I got to do something about my schedule to accommodate my wellness hour. So okay, let me hear from you. You said this week I will learn. You have to make time for yourself when you on your healthy journey. Absolutely. You will start putting your career, putting time in your career to make a new career plan.
Come on. Why? Because you're worthy and you're worth it. So we have to make time. You absolutely right. We literally have to look at this calendar of ours that is filled with all fun stuff, good things, no, bad things. Things that we signed up for, right? And we have to make time for ourselves. We literally have to make room for ourselves. I could show you my desk. Let me show you my. Well, no, I can't show you my desk, but I was going to show you my desk. And we got to make room. You know, like when you go and you like shopping for new furniture, you gotta make room for that new piece of furniture, right?
It's just not like you in your living room where you might have a couch, a tv, a coffee table, and you say, hey, I want a new couch. And you go to the store, to the furniture store and you pick out a new couch and it gets delivered. Then what? What you gonna do with the old couch? You can't leave it there and have a new couch. Hello, Somebody? Right? What we got to do, junk food junkie? We got to remove the old so we can make space for the new. We got to take out that old couch so we can make space for the new couch in the new dining room table or the new chairs or the new tv.
We got to make room. So if we trying to have a newness and we're trying to walk in this health in our healthy season and we trying to make sure our money is right and we're trying to make sure that our relationships are thriving. Yeah, we have to make room. That's my point. So just like you, junk food junkie, you said I wake up early to get it in. You made room for it. You made space to be healthy. You made space to work out. You made space to cook. I love it. That's my point. Today, yes, we are intentionally walking in our wellness hour.
And yes, we have to make room. You have to make room to be healthy. You have to make space to dive into your career and make a plan or update your resume. It doesn't drop off the sky. You literally have to scoot stuff over to clear out the way to do it. That's my point. So I charge you. So put it in the chat. Yeah, tell me what you gonna do this week. What do you have to rearrange? What do you need to move off of your calendar? Who do you need to say no to? Or what do you need to say no to? Or I gotta postpone this.
I can't come because I have a 7 o' clock appointment and it's with me. Hello, I'm talking to myself as much as I'm talking to you. I have a 7 o' clock appointment. My appointment tonight is at 9pm and it's for Rachel. I know you like, not great. That's when I can fit it in. That's when I can fit it in. So when are you gonna do it? Put the time right now. Put the time, put it in the chat. What time of the day? Junk food junkie, are you gonna go work out? Put you said earlier. Is it 5am? Is it 6am Mara, I don't want to mess up your name, but listen, you know who you are?
The one who is starting the career and putting a new plan. What time? What time are you going shopping? What time are you gonna cook your new dinner that's going to be healthy and fuel your body. What time? What time are you going to have that crucial conversation with your family member? What time? What time? What day? We ain't gonna say next week. What day next week? What time? 5:00am to 6. 5:30 to 6:30. Yes, absolutely. My hours from 9 to 10. I'm showing up tonight for myself because I gotta get some stuff done.
What about you? Oh, be smart. You gotta be specific. What time in the afternoon is it 12pm if it 1pm, 2pm tomorrow at what time? Yes. I'm holding you accountable, Cadre. This is an accountability moment. I need it. So I'm gonna make sure when I show up Next Wednesday at 11am I will successfully tell you. I have my wellness hour on Wednesday at 9:00pm I'm making it a date. I'm gonna give me a cute candle. We're gonna be down here at my. In my office. We got some stuff to produce. Why? Because we are worth it.
Okay, 12 to 2. That's what I want to see. When you make it concrete and you may put it on the calendar. Drop a heart, Put it on the calendar. Absolutely. We're doing this. This is our time. This is our season. We're not shrinking back. We're not pushing back. I look this up and then I'm a wrap up. Okay? I looked up the definition of shrink because. And I looked up the word align. Shrink means become or make smaller in size or amount, move back or away, especially because of fear or disgust. When I saw that, I said, no, ma', am, I am not shrinking.
I'm not going to become smaller. I'm not going to live an edited version of myself. No. So neither will you. Neither will you. So we are in agreement then. We are not shrinking. We're not withdrawing. We're not going to lessen ourselves or diminish our plans for anybody or anything. Okay? We are committing to ourselves. We're going to have harmony and alignment with what we say and what we do. Okay? And that may mean we have to send out a notification that we are not available tomorrow between 12 and 2.
We might have to send that notification or keep that do not disturb on between 5:30am and 6:30am and for myself, I must say, between 9 and 10, I am not available because we not shrinking. We're not going to shrink. We're not going to shrink. Say it out loud. Put it in the chat. I will not shrink. I will not put my health, my wealth, my mind, my body on pause anymore. Okay, let me see. Okay. You said my wellness hour is in the morning. It's your walking time. And I love it because I get to hear and see Mother Nature coming alive for the day.
I love it, too. I love. I love seeing birds. I do. It just blesses my heart every time I see them eating in the morning. It does. Because it's like, girl, if God take care of them, he's going to take care of you. Yes. I will not shrink anymore. Nope. Look up the word and you gonna say, oh, no. Look up the word. Coward, Drawback, diminish, lessen, decrease, condense, deflate, abbreviates. I said, no, I will not. I will not. I will not. I cannot. I will not. No, no, no, no, no. Okay, y', all. I am at my time.
This has been your accountability moment. We get to the root. We have made it plain. We have the dates. We have the time. And junk food. Junk is going to be consistent. Consistent. I'm gonna be consistent. You gonna be consistent this week? Absolutely. We're gonna show up for ourselves because we are not shrinking and we are not living an abbreviated life. No. No. Say it with me. No. Okay. I am grateful to be with you. I hope you walking away with something today. Absolutely. Everyone, keep in mind, if you don't make time for yourself, nobody else will.
Come on. That is the absolute truth. Absolute truth. And you know what? Teach this to someone else today. Take that phrase. I'm going to teach that to my daughter. I'm going to take that. I'm going to make sure I teach that to my son, to my husband, to my mother. I'm going to take that. Everyone, keep this in mind. If you don't make time for yourself, nobody else will. That's a whole bar. Junk food junkie. You should teach on that one. Teach on that one. And I will be there. I will show up for that.
Absolutely. Okay, good people, you having an amazing Wednesday. It has been great. I'm in power. I feel great. I love your energy. You got me going, and I feel it. And I hope you feel it, because I'm pointing back at you. All right, you have an amazing day. You absolutely worth it and indispensable. And I will see you next time. Peace out.
