Poem: Life is not meant to be taken so seriously. I believe that the more moments of wonder and gratitude that we can cultivate, that we will find peace. I'm wishing you a lot of peace, positivity and prosperity today.

Hey, folks, how you doing? My name is Nick the poet. Thank you for taking a walk with me today. Maybe you want to take a walk around the block, around the kitchen. Maybe you want to sit right where you are, having your cup of coffee or your tea or your breakfast, or maybe you've already been up for a while. Whatever is happening, please listen to some of this poetry and see if it could maybe just shift your day a little bit. So wonder is our natural state as we skate from ordinary to extraordinary moments, and after years of searching, discover that every ordinary moment is crammed with the extraordinary.

Life is serious, mysterious, curious. Life is fun. Life is not meant to be taken so seriously. Junk food junkie. Welcome. Thanks for. Thanks for coming aboard. Good morning, Luke. Thanks for coming aboard. Just reading some poetry. Life is fun. You guys both know how to have fun. Hey, thanks for joining. Speak wonder. Oh, perfect day. Perfect day for a walk. Yes. So I will continue with the poem. Life is not meant to be taken so seriously. Life is a paradox, not meant to be understood, but to be lived.

And so with all of my poems, you know, I'm kind of going for a state of mind, a way to look at the world. But I want to make it clear that I don't live in this mind state all the time. You know, when I say wonder is our natural state, I really do believe that wonder is our natural state. But, you know, a lot of times we might be living in that fear or worry or anxiety, but I believe that the more moments of wonder and gratitude that we can cultivate, that we, like, train ourselves in that mindset and can get there more frequently.

And poetry and walking are two ways that really helped me with that. And this is another one that I wrote quite some time ago. And it says, peace is our destiny. I tell my mind, when it goes on the grind, find rest with me, says the universe. There's no need to cower. The bee finds honey. The businessman finds money. We will all find peace, whether in 2023 or 30, 33 or 4044, because it is our destiny. And, you know, so with this one, I'm just saying it's kind of back to that same old thing, the hustle and bustle, the hurry and the worry, you know?

But our natural state is this peacefulness. I really do believe that. And I know that we all find that in our own ways, poetry while walking, you can't beat that combination. My next one says, don't hold on so tight. Let your life float like a kite. Bold, beautiful, no strife. It flies high because it's so light. And I saw this expression one time written somewhere, light is true, heavy is false. So if we're feeling that lightness, you know, I think that we're in our true selves. And if we're feeling that heaviness, we might be in our false selves.

And it doesn't mean we need to beat ourselves up when we feel these things, I don't think because they are going to come and they're going to go. And the harder that we are on ourselves, it's just worse, right? The harder we are on ourselves. But we tend to be our own worst critics. So, uh, here's another one. It says, I choose to believe that it's important to ask for help and to receive. I believe that the universe is always conspiring to help us and heal us. It may just not be the method that my ego prefers.

Today I try to let go of how I think things should work and feel inspired to see the world anew. What an exquisite opportunity it is to be alive. Whether I am in the mode of survive or thrive, I can always look at the sky and realize that happiness comes in the blink of an eye. That's what I have for you today. I'm wishing you a lot of peace, a lot of positivity, a lot of prosperity. Well, always remembering that we have a lot of work to do, but we're going to do it together.
