Doctor e here. Leadership building blocks number four. We've talked about vulnerability, intentionality and capacity. Hope you are doing well once again.
The last building block that I want to discuss is consistency. Four building blocks, intentionality, vulnerability, capacity and consistency. Think about developing long term as well as short term. Low hanging fruit always do first, always try to tackle.
Doctor e here. Hope you are doing well once again. Leadership building blocks number four. We've talked about vulnerability. We've talked about intentionality. We've also talked about capacity. The last building block that I want to discuss is consistency. One of my favorite quotes is from Aristotle, which says we are what we repeatedly do. So how do you think about being consistent in more challenging, different ways versus default ways, doing things that you've always done, maintaining the status quo, being confined to your comfort zones.
So think about consistency in the opposite direction. How are you more than not pushing yourself outside of the boundaries of comfort? What are you doing on in an ongoing type of way that allows you to stretch yourself? And what does that look like? Fits and starts. Starts and fits don't really accomplish much. So how are you beginning to think about being consistent in your approaches, consistent in your efforts, and then holding yourself to that standard of maintaining interrogation, maintaining engagement, maintaining the types of communications and the types of habits and practices that are allowing you to obviously accomplish different goals in a better type of more productive, developed kind of way.
Think about consistency. Think about developing long term as well as short term. And what are some of those goals that you can differentiate between the two? Low hanging fruit always do first, always try to tackle, always try to build on those. But then, even in the long term, consistently staying on task, consistently staying the course, even when that means you are encountering or embattling internal and external barriers and obstacles, what does it take to maintain that level of consistency in terms of engagement, intentionality, vulnerability and capacity in an ongoing, forthright kind of way?
So think about that. Challenge yourself to do that and be diligent in everything on the pathways to accomplishing that. Four building blocks, intentionality, vulnerability, capacity and consistency.
