The episode closes with warm farewells and a final repeated line about making a new dance up, leaving listeners with an uplifting, encouraging takeaway.

You remind me of a boy who once let me destroy when he cut me like a saw. It's back and forth and remind you of someone you loved when you were young. She tossed you like a stone into the ocean. He said we'd never dance again. Second chances. Something happening? You make me want to dance. You make me want to sing. You make me want to make me make. A new dance up. You make me want to make a new dance up. You make me want to make a new dance up. I love that song. It's by a band called Hey Ocean, exclamation point.

Make a new dance up. In essence, it's a little bit of a lemonade out of lemons, glass half full kind of song. And all of a sudden you were in a place where you didn't want to, and all of a sudden someone says, hey, I'm going to change your perspective and change how you see your next step. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. Happy cadre today. Or if it's not a happy cadre today, know that you're still in the exact right place. You can show up here whether you're feeling good or you're not feeling good.

And we will offer you many ways to consider how you positively impact that feeling. My name is JC. If we've never shared time and space together before, thank you for the opportunity to spend some time with you here and now. Bop or flop. So I get to jump onto the radio as a guest fill-in radio personality every once in a while. And this last week I was on and there was a segment called Bop or Flop. another member of the team who's not on the radio comes in and listens to songs of the two people hosting the show, and that other person decides if they think the song is a bop or a flop.

And I will tell you, I'm not very good at games on the radio show. And for the first time in radio history, my three songs were all flops. And the other radio hosts, who most of the time isn't all flops, were also flops. The first time was Six for six flops and no bops. It's so funny, if we've spent time together here, you know I'm a music person. You know I most of the time start a cadre today with a little bit of music. And I'm a musician myself and a music educator. So I'm like, gosh, why are all my songs perceived as flops?

And it's interesting because the decider of the bop or the flop, who is one of my favorite human beings in the world, was like, JC, your music's very X and very Y. And not saying that that was that good or bad, but that there's a consistency as to the music that I end up playing, even though it's all rather diverse within genre and era and artist, but there is something that makes it very much my kind of music. And I'm also trying to go, it's like, okay, what would be in the way I define a bop a bop?

All of this is to say, The things that move us, the things that ground us and fill our cups are not universally owned, right? So something that is a bop to me may not be a bop to someone else. And that's why I played that song today, You Make Me Want to Make a New Dance Up. It's about you finding your thing, your cup of tea. So my invitation for you today Take some time to lock in on what fills you, what moves you, what grounds you down. And even if it doesn't make someone else do that, let it do it for you.

Because that's what we need in this world. People who are finding the thing that moves them and everybody else doing the exact same thing in their own very different unique way. Have a good day everybody. I'll see you tomorrow. You want to make a new dance up? You want to make a new dance up?
