JC reflects on presence and introduces enoughness with four levers—feelings, words, thoughts, presence—and explores intuition as a bodily gut signal, contrasting operating from scarcity versus enoughness.
The host opens the video from his car, offering greetings and reflecting on presence and mindfulness. He introduces himself and frames the moment as one of awareness and appreciation.
The speaker explains 'enoughness'—the idea that you are already enough—and describes how chasing 'not yet' undermines us. He introduces four calibrating levers: feelings, words, thoughts, and presence.
This section focuses on the lever 'my feelings are enough,' describing intuition as a bodily, non-thinking signal tied to the nervous system. The host gives a real-world example of a friend who felt an opportunity but didn't act, illustrating how intuition and hesitation play out.
The speaker contrasts operating from scarcity with operating from enoughness, emphasizing that the gut offers clear 'do' or 'wait' signals. He urges viewers to heed those cues and ends with brief farewell remarks.
Hey, Cadre! How are we doing on this? I almost said Wednesday. I don't know why. It's Friday. It is Friday right here in the Cadre Sphere. And welcome to my car. I've had a lot of car Cadre Todays recently. And that's a good moment for me to go, oh yeah, it's a pretty frenetic time. It's a pretty busy, kooky crazy time in my world. I think that's one of the gifts that Cadre gives us, right? This little moment of going, oh, here's something I just noticed or something I remembered or that I became aware of.
And there's benefit to that. There's benefit in knowing where we are, what we have, and what we can do with that. That's what I like to call presence or mindfulness, right? Being where you are with what you have and honoring that. Well, hey, Where I am and what I have is a lot of honor and appreciation for you. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. My name is JC. If we've never shared time and space together before, thank you for the chance to spend some time with you right here, right now.
I talk a lot. That's a full sentence. I talk a lot. And I talk a lot about the topic of enoughness, which is the idea, the concept that you are already in this moment indeed enough and capable of doing some remarkable things. The world tends to want us to believe that we're good, but we're not as good as we're going to be one moment from now once we've accomplished that thing. I'm here, but once I'm here, all of this will become possible. And that's a slippery, sneaky, I think awful, mean idea to convince us that in this moment we aren't really enough, but we're really close to being enough.
Then all of a sudden we're always chasing. When we learn to operate from that space of enoughness, cool things happen. And in this concept, there's four calibrating arms. Four things that you can pull and poke and wiggle around to make yourself a little bit more aware and ready to go, Oh, that's right. I am enough in this moment. One of those four levers, one of those four arms is the lever that says, My feelings are enough, which ties to your intuition. If you're wondering, the other three are my words are enough, that's your honesty.
The second one is my thoughts are enough, that's my curiosity. And the last one is I am enough, and that is your presence. But let's talk about my feelings are enough, your intuition for a moment. Your intuition is the part of your being that says, ooh, do that. That will make sense and feel good. We all have that. Now again, we can try to look at the physiology of the intuition and go, well, what actually is there? Right? Like your intuition isn't like your gallbladder. It's not like, oh, here's my intuition.
But it is made-up of a lot of the things of your anatomy and physiology, right? Your nervous system going, ooh, releasing sympathetic, parasympathetic responses and juices that make you go, I feel safe or I feel scared or I feel grounded or I feel like I need to run. It's within other elements of your being, right? When all of a sudden you're feeling love and your heart starts pumping and you start sweating and getting warm and you go, this feels good or this feels right. So your intuition is a lot of things.
But your intuition says, hey, do that. That will feel good and that makes sense to us right now. Why is your intuition a big part of your enoughness? Well, because you may be in a moment where you go, I feel like I'm supposed to go up to that stranger and say hello. If you go, I don't know who they are. Why don't why would I want it? Why would I do that? That doesn't make any sense. And your intuition doesn't make sense, right? Sense lives in your brain. Feeling right. Right? Intuition is not a thinky thing, but it's a feely thing.
And there's a lot of times I was sitting next to a gentleman yesterday who's a good friend of mine, and they're talking about, wow, there's this, there's this opportunity that seems interesting to me. I go, I'm listening and I'm listening like, okay, now you're going to tell me that you took the opportunity or you reached out about the opportunity and they didn't. I was like, how long have you known about this opportunity? They're like, a couple weeks and I go, and you've simply been thinking about this thing for a couple of weeks.
No judgment. I was like, I want to make sure I understood. Yeah, I'm thinking, I'm thinking, I'm thinking like, what does it feel like? What are you feeling? It's like, Oh, this is kind of a perfect opportunity. And I go, Then why aren't you doing something? Why aren't you asking the question? Why aren't you saying hello? And it's because a lot of times we don't operate from a state of enoughness. We operate from a state of once I figure out the thing, once I gain the skill, once I earn the right, once it falls into my lap, once it, then I will.
Your gut teaches you in the sphere of enoughness that there's always information. And a lot of times your gut goes, this doesn't feel right. This doesn't feel right. This doesn't feel right. You shouldn't do anything yet. You shouldn't do anything yet. You should also listen to your gut then. when your gut goes, Hey, you absolutely should do that thing. You absolutely should ask that question. You absolutely are feeling this thing and you need to figure out why you're feeling this thing. That's what your gut says.
You should listen to it. Have a great day everybody. I'll see you tomorrow.
