It's my turn. Hi Chris. Fortman how's everybody doing out there in the cadre sphere today? It. Is Tuesday, June 16th. My name is JC, and I'm really glad that you are here. Um, I hope you're doing good. I really do. Um, but as we know, some days we're doing good. Some days we're doing. Better or worse than good. Um, and here's your daily reminder that even if you're not doing great, um, that's okay. And. You're still incredibly capable, incredibly worthy, and you're probably going to impact quite a few people away in.
Ways it cannot imagine. Hey Cole. Nice to see you. My friend. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you are here. I know the things I know, and I care about you. Um, that was a little. Um, a little, little mix. Um, singing power, um, to play us in today, cuz I want to. Um, introduce you to your power tool. Um, there's one tool that you have within your. Um, bag of tricks. Tricks, um, that has, uh, a lot of power, but sometimes. It's easy to forget. Um, and that tool is your breath. Um, here's why it's tricky to use the power of your breath consistently.
There's a little part of your brain called your medulla oblongata. If you ever saw the. Movie water boy. Um, the coach of the team always said that there was something wrong. With, um, the water boys, medulla Alanga or maybe it was his teacher. I don't know, but there's a, there's a scene where. Um, me doula Ablan is said many times. Um, your medulla Ablan God is the part of your brain that. Um, deals with your automated actions, your automated movements. So, um, like your heartbeat. The blink of your eyes.
Um, when all of a sudden you got an itch and you, all of a sudden you go, oh, I'm gonna itch that thing without you having to say, I am going to itch my. Scratch. I'm gonna scratch my itch. Um, and oblongata also um, deals with your automated inhales and exhales. Cuz right now as you've been listening, I bet you haven't been saying every couple of seconds, breathe in. Okay, breathe out. Okay, breathe in. Okay, breathe out. It happens. It happens without you having to tell yourself to do it. Uh, so it's really easy for your breath and the power that it holds to.
Maybe not be acknowledged or utilized and. Meaningful life, giving ways. Uh, I invite you today though. To consider how your breath. Uh, empowers you to have control over moments and situations. I invite you today to consider how your breath. Can provide you fuel. Um, or calm. Um, I invite you today to see how your breath provides you. Time, uh, for really important things like thinking and. Feeling (affirmative) breath is a power tool. And just like most things in this human life. It's tricky. Cuz you can have your breath moving all day long.
And not acknowledge the power that it holds. Holds. So here's your tactical and practical for the day. Use this one often, but it's a good one. Let's go ahead and say. Um, you are feeling um, really agitated. If you need to rest plug your right nostril. Let's say you are feeling kind of sluggish and tired. You need to level up plug your left nostril. Right to rest. Left to level up. Taking one minute to breathe. Single nostril. Um, in those two ways. So if you need some energy plug your left nostril.
If you need to calm down, plug your right nostril. Uh, it's a really great way. Let's say you're walking into a meeting and you need to pep up or. You need to calm down and focus. Left level up right rest. Your breath is there for you? It's got a lot of power. Use it y'all and Hey. Who's got the power. You do y'all have a great day speak. Wonder Chris Cole, everybody out there in the condre. Sphere have a good day. Y'all.
