Good morning, good morning, Cadre fam. How are we doing today? It is Tuesday, the sun is shining, the birds are chirping, and I already went and froze my butt off at Embrace North this morning. Sonic Cold Plunge. Good morning, good morning. My name is Rolando. I go by Coach Ro, Rose A612 on social media. Good morning, good morning. It is a good day. Any day that I can wake up to sunshine and birds chirping, half the day's problems are already manageable. Anyways, good morning. So I like to start off with a slight check-in, one through 10.

Where are you at today? 10 being it's the best day ever. If I play the lottery, I'm probably gonna win. Or one, I shouldn't have never got out of bed. It's gonna be a challenging day. Where are you at today? For me, I would say I woke up at about a 7 And after I got my body moving and got the blood flowing, I'm at about an 8 1/2 right now. So that's good. Thought I'd take a second to actually, this is the first time coming on here from my living room, actually. So if you guys want to check it out, boom, I'm too crazy.

But anyways, tap in, drop your number. We got an 8 in the chat. 8 is good. This thing is going to slide. All right. I like to start off in the morning by identifying where I'm at. Really solidifying, okay, maybe I'm at A7, maybe I'm at A6. But what, this thing wants to slide here. Let me. Technical difficulties. I'm on the move today. I'm only human. Forgive me. I like to identify where I'm at for the day, accept it. Like, okay, I might be at A7. What is it going to take for me to get to an 8? What is stopping me mentally, physically, emotionally from getting there?

Sometimes it's just like that five minutes of journaling. I'm like, oh, I should have did that right away. Or moving my body, getting that coffee in, or having that conversation with someone that's going to hold me accountable. All different kinds of things. I like to at least know where I'm at. Today, I would like to talk about what happens when we do things that we don't want to do and we get comfortable doing them. For me, sometimes I've come out of a pretty heavy season of life last few months, and I realized that I found comfort in doing the things that I really don't want to do that don't add the value to my life that I'm looking for.

example, Netflix. Netflix will take me down that hour, half hour, hour before bed. The Netflix, sleeping in a bit. or even pushing my morning gym routine off to the afternoon. These are all things that when I'm going through a tough season in life and I'm having anxiety, I'm feeling depression, all these things where life just feels heavy, it's real comfortable to do the things that I don't want to do. It almost feels like there's a certain level of alignment there. And I've had to unlearn that and identify, okay, why am I doing these things?

What am I getting out of it? why am I sitting in it and what am I going to do about it? So I started asking myself, what can I do? Speak wonder, late to the party, are we waiting our week? I am at a six, I think. Okay, nice, six. Okay, speak wonder, what is it going to take to get to a seven? You don't have to answer that in the chat, but it's just a a question. But I've had to recently ask myself, okay, what are the things that I'm doing in my life that have been comfortable or have brought me a level of comfort as I was going through a tough season that I no longer want to do now that the sun's out?

And it's one of those things that I like to typically clean house all at once all the things and I'm like, okay, I don't want to burn myself up, but let's start small. What are two or three things that I found comfort in that really I don't want to do? And the first thing I landed on is watching TV before bed. I told myself I wouldn't put a TV in my room. One thing led to another and one night I got an idea. I was like, you know what? I'm going to watch a movie in my room and I brought my projector screen in there.

Biggest mistake ever. Biggest mistake ever. But I found comfort in that I was going through a season. Yeah, I'd watch podcasts, YouTube videos, but there would become those moments where it's like, you know what? I just want to turn my mind off and disconnect and not think. And it slowly led to watching a bunch of TV that was not adding a whole lot of value to my life. So I chose to remove the projector screen. I also chose to remove the app to remove Netflix or at least sign out because you guys know sometimes it could be a whole battle just trying to sign into these things those and also when I go through my seasons it's gets real comfortable to be alone and not reach out and talk to people one of the biggest things to combat my my comfort in that is to talk about it to call that person that I know is going to listen and also going to hold me accountable.

Because sometimes it gets real easy to reach out to the people that might just pad our feelings and our emotions. We all have those people that we know who to call when we're in trouble and who not to call. So anyways, my question today, because I'm going to keep this one quick today, is what are a couple of things in your life that you're doing that you find comfort in that aren't necessarily things that you want to be doing in life. I'll leave it to you to figure out what that is. So I challenge you.

What are you doing right now currently in your life that you're finding comfort that you don't want to do? I challenge you to identify a couple of things and take one step and try to change that behavior. For me, it involves removing the projector screen from my room. It's like a movie theater every night. So it's going to be rough, but we're going to do it. But those small things set me up for tomorrow. So I'd rather do those small things on the front end that future me is going to be proud of.

Like, you know what? Something really changed once you took that projector screen or that TV out of your room. Once you started journaling in the morning and at night, something changed. I want future self. Six months from now, I want that row to be like, you know what? When you made that decision, something changed in you and I'm grateful for it. the work in ahead of time to actually see and feel and experience the benefits on the back end. So one thing today that you are finding comfort in that you don't want to do and let's do something about it.

The sun is shining depending on where you're at. The sun is shining and it's cold here today in Minnesota, but we'll be alright. We've had worse days. That is what I got for you. I am going to sign out. Have a good day. Whatever your number is, ask yourself as well, what is it gonna take to get to that next number? If you're at a 7, what is it gonna take to get to an 8? Is it a coffee? Is it a boba tea? Is it a sandwich? I don't know. Everyone's different. Let's figure out what it is and let's get there.

Have a great day. Peace. I never know what to do with this last couple of seconds.
