Hey fair. What's up? What's up? Good morning. Good morning, coach Rowe here, rose six, 12 on social media. Kind of a sporadic, uh, stream here. Right? I missed my Tuesday morning slot. Um, logistics, you know, uh, but here we are. And I want to invite you guys today to take a walk with me, right. Walk a few miles. So what am I doing? I am currently. On the recovery road, right? The recovery road is a, an organiz. Organization that is putting on a youth mental health walk. Uh, walking the perimeter of Minnesota, right.
Uh, just about 1800 miles. With Jason Lennox. Who's way up ahead. Up there. But, uh, I wanted to invite you guys into the space because I've been. Loving this space, a lot of thinking, a lot of downtime. A lot of tire legs, all the things, but like the amount. Of Claire. And comfort. I give in my going head out here. It's I. This is way cheaper than therapy. Now that I say that out loud. It's not because there's a lot of components. Components to it. But anyways, I wanna invite you guys to the space, right?
Um, so right. Now, currently just outside. Oslo, Minnesota, which is right off the interstate on the North Dakota, Minnesota. Border, roughly, uh, anyone who's local don't attack me about a hundred miles, 120 from Winnipeg. Uh, Canada. Um, and we're walking, we're about seven miles in right now. We're gonna. Try to put in a, a 28 piece today. Um, so I'm gonna be posting a little bit more. I'd love to, for you guys to join in on the journey. Um, I'm gonna share some of my thoughts and things that I'm going processing through along the way.
All right. For the last few miles. I've been thinking about a list, right. Basically an inventory list, right. It usually starts in the gym. Right. When I train people when I coach people. I try to set the stage a little bit. Right? I tell 'em, Hey, you like going to the gym? You want to get into it. What are the top five or 10 exercises that you just love? You love doing they're fun, you know? What you're doing it, it does it for you. Right. And people feel good. They write down those five or 10.
All right. Tell me the five or 10. That we're gonna, we should stay away from, or that you don't like, or they're just uncomfortable. Right. Then people make that 10. Right. It's not a fun list, right? And then I'm like, all right, cool. We got this list of the 10 that you like, the 10 that you don't. Don't all right. You just created for me, your plan, these 10, that you have been escaping. And not doing obviously minus anything. That's, uh, injury related. Those are the ones we're gonna do, right.
And I transfer that over into my average life too. Right. I take a moral inventory. I don't know. If it's a moral inventory, but I just take a basic self inventory. Inventories award are the 10 things in my life that are going good. They're going great. Don't worry about 'em. All right. Cool. Let's make a list. Of the 10 things that I wish were better. Right. All right. Boom. There's our list. Let's start knocking 'em off, right. And periodically I have to do that. Right. And keep adding to that.
List the things that I don't want to do, right. We all have things that we get. Comfortable with even the things that are holding us back, the things that are keeping. Us stuck. If we avoid them too much, we get used to that space and that place in our lives. And we. Call it normal. We accept it. Right. And that is a hard thing to accept some things that are holding us. Back. So I recently made a really big list of those. And had to, had to start working on them. Right. It's kind of, one of the reasons I got to where I'm at right now.
So my thing is to you and you, it might not be in the gym. It might not be 10. It might not be five. What are three things? Let's start with the three things. What are the three things in your life that are going really good right now? You're like, I'm crushing it. I'm killing. It. Cool. All right. That feels good. It's good to see that. Right. All right. What are three things? That I'm feeling stuck in right now that I just don't want to do, but I probably should do, but there's reasons. Reasons why right down that list.
And let's start working on that thing. Right. Um, start small, if you have to, whether it's, oh, I don't make my bed every day. All right. Well, let's make our bed. Every day, I don't journal every morning. Well, let's start journal. Let's set a timer. Let's set a calendar invite. Let's create space for those that happen, right. For those things that happen. I, I continually take these moments in my life to make those lists. Lists, whether it's mental or physical, cuz there's always things that are gonna be needed to work on.
Right. Um, I've really been thinking about that today. Um, as a friend of mine reached. Out to me. And we were talking about the gym and I literally did that. I'm like, oh, I talk about this a lot. Because it's what I continually do. All the time. So just wanted to share that with you. Um, take a look at what's going on in your life. What's going good. What needs. Work and let's ship win. One thing at a time, someone asked me. How do you eat an elephant? I'm like, I don't know. They're like one bite at a time.
I'm like, huh, I get it, but I really don't really. Have the desire to eat elephant, but I get the analogy, right? So. Anyways, that's what I got for you here. Mile marker 55. If you can see that. But stay tuned. I'm gonna share more along the way as I have service.
