Welcome, welcome, cadre. 15 am Pacific standard time. And I want to shine back in. Um, I want to try and stream literally every single day on the cadre sphere. Um, so goal of mine. I'm already streaming. It's a habit. It's literally like mine muscle connection now, uh, with streaming. Um, I do it every day on my YouTube channel . I'm loving every minute of it. Um, and literally I want to, I want to do a nice little live for you guys this morning. Again, it's Saturday. My wife's getting her hair done.

So perfect time for me to do a little live anytime, right? You got a thought, you got an idea. I like to roll with it. And one thing I was just thinking about because I'm part of a fitness community because I'm working towards my personal trainer designation. And I'm listening to Tony Robbins, money master of the game. Amazing, amazing book. You can either, if you prefer to read it, you can read it on your Kindle or you can read the paperback or you can listen to the audio book. Now, he, I like it when the author narrates the first chapter.

He narrates the book. He does narrate the first chapter. Um, and then the last chapter of the book. Um, because he's got kind of a raspy voice. So that's why he decided to have someone else narrate the rest of it. But super, super impactful. I highly recommend anyone that's starting their, their personal financial journey or money management journey. Personal finance is very simple, but it can get complicated. It can become complex. If it's not, um, if it's not, um, explained in the right manner.

So he talks about that in his book, you know, he talks about, uh, saving, if you can, up to 15% of your, your paycheck, right? Either biweekly or monthly, if that's too much. Um, for example, myself, I save , uh, I'm, I'm saving about 7% per month of my monthly pay. Um, so I want to bump that up. I want to double that. I want to get that to 15. Um, and I know I want to make more, more money to be able to substantiate those, those extra investment dollars. But basically so far in the book, I'm in the very beginning of the book, he talks about investing more of your, as much as your money is possible, get your money working for you as early as possible and invest as much of your money as possible because if we're just leaving it, sit in our checking account or our savings account is losing value and it's not working for us.

You still want to have contingency fund. You still want to have an emergency fund just in case for rainy day, but he calls it your freedom fund. Um, for your retirement, right? I think I might, I, I can actually read most bank accounts. You can rename it. You can give your account a nickname. I'm probably going to nickname mine freedom fund or freedom, financial fund, um, for, right, because we, if we have our money working for us long enough and hard enough, then yeah, we can, we can step away from work if we want to, I want to get to the point for me and my wife that we were working because we want to not because we have to.

And that's something that's been my mission from day one since I started in the financial service industry. That was my dream retire early. Um, and now it's not so much about retiring early. It's about having the freedom to decide to retire early. And it just requires a different set of thinking. So definitely recommend listening in or reading Tony Robbins. If you haven't already read it, we're listening to it. Money master the game. I'm getting back into it and my brain is just flooded with excitement again, you know, reigniting that excitement and JC did a post or quote the other day that really stuck with me is like, we're not always going to be jazzed up for our goals.

We're not always going to be jazzed up and motivated to, to crush our goals. Um, but that's okay. You know, um, you know, we're not going to be motivated 100% that time. The key is we keep showing up. We keep doing the work. We remain. We work on. We work our discipline muscle and that's something I've been really working on for myself is like showing up is the most important part , whether you feel at 100% or 50% doesn't matter as long as we keep showing up. Great things will come. And I wanted to also mention in this live stack those small wins that you have day in a day, a week in a week out month and a month out year in a year out and celebrate those small wins.

That's something I've really put emphasis on an intention behind for this year for 2026. No matter what the win is, no matter what the challenges, celebrate it. Um, I passed this fitness. So I did fitness theory and I finished that in the fall in September and then I just finished. It was, it was an intensive two week for the weight training course. I finished that February 8th. I gave myself a couple of weeks off because it was really intense because I also did my CPR at the same time. I kind of overbooked myself because I wanted to get it done.

I want to get it done early. And I'm super excited and the next piece of the puzzle for that is I need to get my practice hours, which is 15 to 20 hours of like training clients or like showing my instructor that I know the muscle movements. I know the mind and muscle connection and what muscles are getting worked in each movement pattern. So I'm super excited to do that, but I have to find a community mentors. I've been doing some research in my community. It's not a huge community, but I know I'll find someone and because I have to get them to also proctor my exam .

I have to write the online exam for the fitness training, the weight training instructor. But once I pass, well, once I do get all that, then I get my weight training instructor's designation so I can work in a gym and I can train clients and develop programs and it's incredible. It's like, it 's my dream to do this. So I'm super excited about it. And I want to tell you how excited I am about it. But again, my point is celebrate your small wins, celebrate what's going well for you. If something's not going well for you, how can you think about it differently?

Maybe how can you react differently towards it? That's something I've been really working on. And a big thing I love about doing these lives, public accountability. I want to hold myself accountable. And I've been using my YouTube streams to hold myself accountable. I literally show you my morning. I show you what I do in the morning. It is as unglamorous as it can be sometimes, but it's unglamorous and it's boring and it's monotonous sometimes, but it gets results because I'm consistent. I'm trying to be crazy consistent.

And when we're crazy consistent, no matter, and we teach our mind and muscle that we don't need to feel a certain way to get the thing done. We just get the thing done no matter how we feel. That's what I'm trying to master because in the past, my mindset was, well, I don't feel like doing it. I need to be motivated to do it. I don't, you don't need to be motivated to do anything. You can just find a way to do it. And the catalyst, I think has been for me is like, I want to do the thing I love. Because it's going to have the highest impact and the highest ROI for people that I'm showing up for, which will be my clients, right?

Trans, I want to help people transform specifically, if I'm going to put a number on it, I want to help 30 plus million people worldwide transform their mind, body, and soul. How do I do that? By showing up daily, making YouTube shorts about those, those subnishes of fitness and nutrition or fitness and mindset, that's, that will be my bread and butter till the end of time. And I want people to, I want to show them how to transform. I want to transform people psychologically and physically through mind, body, and soul optimization content.

That's, that's my, that's been my mission since day one. And through that, I know I can provide a ton of value and create an immense amount of value for people on a hot end. And help them really transform their life. That's when I'm after transformation , after transformation. That's what gets me up in the morning. That's what's helped me wake up earlier. To train earlier to, the one thing I have been slacking off on a little bit is meal prep, but me and my wife always make enough in our dinners for the lunch, for the following day for our lunches, which is awesome.

So, so that's been super awesome. But I'm just super excited. You know, when life just feels like it's flowing, like I'm not, you know, you're going with the current. You know, I'm not, I don 't feel like I'm, I'm swimming against the current. I'm flowing with the current . And that's a great feeling. And I think a big part of that is mindset. Always, always feed your mind. Good stuff. I barely watch the news. I do watch it a little bit just to be not naive, just to be aware. I want to be aware, but I don't want to be fixated on all everything that's going on in the world.

I know there's lots of going on in the world, but all that we can do is better ourselves and create the best mindset possible. That's resilient. That's tough. That can withstand turbulence, setbacks, failures, and help us over and then help us overcome obstacles and what's, what 's yet to come. So the only thing is about my, about this live, I know from yesterday, I can't see anyone tune into it. I can't see on the back end because normally I can see in the bottom if people have tuned into it. So, but the quality is great.

I'm loving the quality. It's just like everything looks like way clearer and better resolution. So that's freaking sweet. But yeah, food for thought, cadre, food for thought, stack those small wins, do your daily to personal development, however you like to do that, whether you like to listen to podcasts, listen to audio books, read your Kindle, read paperback books, just a couple of pages a day or a couple minutes a day. It makes a massive difference on your psyche. Utilize all the tools available to you, right?

However you like to learn, like, I need a combination of, I can 't just sit in the classroom. I need a combination of people in me telling me how to do it. I need to repeat it back to myself in my own words. I got to rewrite notes. I got to do things over and over and over and over until it sinks in so that I can relay that information with confidence and conviction to other people. So yeah, figure out how you like to learn, because sometimes when we come out of school or university, we have to relearn how to learn when we get to college or university, and then we have to learn again when we're out in the real world on how we best learn.

Because the world moves fast and I've been learning over the last while. I want to learn how to keep up to the world's speed and then how can I do that, that best works for my brain and how I learn. So yeah, those are just some thoughts I had. Love going live on cadre. It's my favorite place on the internet to be. It's my favorite app to open every day. There's so much positivity. There's so much gratitude, love for this community. And yeah, I just want to say I love y'all and happy Saturday. And I miss y'all and I can't wait to meet in person one of these days.

And with that, this is Alex Muir, helping you flex your mind, body, and soul. Maybe happy, maybe healthy, and maybe a piece. And if you ever want a mindfulness app that's free that I've been using, I'm on day 17. I'm going to do a live right now on my YouTube channel @mindmnd-cep at Mindset for my YouTube channel. I'm going to go live and I'm going to do a live meditation right now. And I'm going to do face mask because Saturday or Sunday is self-care Saturday or self-care Sunday where I just slow down the pace.

Monday to Friday is pretty fast paced and going from morning until night with work and then building my fitness brand and training and meal prep with my wife , walking our dog. So there's always a lot to do, but I'm going to do a live right now. I'm going to do a meditation, skincare, and then I'm reading my Kindle. I'm reading Dr. Jo just spends his book on his first book. I can't remember what it's called, but I'll let you guys know once I find out. All right, have a happy Saturday, cadre fam, love ya.

Pinot says hi. Oh, Pinot, say hi to cadre? Yeah, Pinot says hi. But yeah, much love guys. You guys take care. And I'll figure out, maybe there's something I'm missing, how I can't see anyone that's tuned into the live. So once I forget that, I'll be sweet to see if you guys are tuned in. All right, ciao.
