Hello, everyone. Danielle here. And really just to talk about meditation 101, like, what's the benefit of it and why do it? So meditation is a tool. It's a practice to allow you really drop in, drop into yourself, drop into your heart, really get to truth, uncover things that maybe you otherwise want to get access to. Because we get stuck in the mind, in the doing and versus being just still being with yourself and letting this, the thoughts, the all the tapes that play in our head, be still and find space in between our thoughts, because that's really where a lot of the wisdom and the truth sit.
So use it as a tool in a practice. And when I say practice, I mean a consistent practice, just like anything. The power of consistency, of doing something repeated again and again and again. You build upon the previous day. So think about even, like, digging a hole. So say you want to dig a hole, right? And you can dig like five inches every day. And you need to get to an x amount, though. If you just dig five inches one day and then stop, go back to it again ten days later versus just doing it every day, do five inches right, you'll have a, a more depth and you'll get to the goal a lot faster.
So use this meditation as a tool and a practice to really be still. Tune into yourself and get access to a lot of your wisdom and truth and insights that you actually already know. Sometimes if you, like, call somebody to question, like, what should I do about this? That's good. But there's power and just being still and meditating and letting your answers arise for yourself. That's power right there.
