Why Appreciation is a Success Habit Most Ignore
Today's Wealth Wisdom Wednesday is why appreciation is a success habit that most people ignore. Using these tools like journaling three things that we're appreciative about or appreciate. Three memories, three blessings, three intentions. It's super helpful.
Find what you're grateful for and what you appreciate more. Write it down on paper or in your phone or your tablet. Three memories, three blessings, three intentions. This is Wealth Wisdom Wednesday.
Welcome, welcome, Cadre. And today's Wealth Wisdom Wednesday is why appreciation is a success habit that most people ignore. This is Wealth Wisdom Wednesday. I'm your host, Alex Muir, host of the Mindset podcast content fellow content creator of my Mindset brand, helping you flex your mind, body and soul. And yeah, let's. Let's dive right into it. 6:30pm Pacific. So a lot like gratitude. Having and creating moments of gratitude or highlighting moments of gratitude are things that we're grateful for, right?
Like, some people like to journal that in their journal before bed or first thing in the morning. I remember Speak Wonder saying that she does the five minute journal or whatever it's called. Speak Wonder. Welcome to life. I was just talking about you for the five minute bullet journal or something like that. Good evening. And just like, how helpful that is to highlight. Highlighting areas of our life that we appreciate and that we're grateful for. It's super, super powerful. Oh, morning pages. That was it.
I was just trying to remember what it was called. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you for reminding me. So using these tools like journaling three things that we're appreciative about or appreciate, or journaling three things we're grateful for in the morning or at night, I typically like to do that kind of stuff at night and meditate in the morning. But although I did journal in the past, I don't journal now. But again, these are just tools and tactics that we're highlighting for you guys because everyone has different modalities that they like to use to remember moments that they're grateful for and things that they appreciate in their life.
So I'll start off with myself. So I'm. I appreciate my wife very much. I appreciate our home that we've created together very much. I appreciate our amazing family and I appreciate our dog who's just over there right now. Pino. Hey, Pino, come over here. You want to come to the live puppy? He was barking at the. The rim. My ring light. No, no, no, no, no. Over here, over here. Oh, I was gonna try and pick him up, but he was barking earlier at the ring light. He's not. He's unsure about it because it's not normally in my room, so.
Or in our room, but. Yeah. So using this kind of technique, three things you're grateful. Grateful for. Yeah, like, exactly. Three memories, three blessings, three intentions. It's super helpful. And like, just doing things in that format, like in threes, helps you come up with things in your life that you appreciate and things in your life that you're grateful for. And when we do it like that and we start with three, three things, then, you know, we might find out like some days that we can, oh my God, I'm grateful for this and this and this and this.
We have like a lot. There's a lot, right? So it's just an activity to help us feel that, feel those emotions, feel those memories, feel the blessings that we have in our life. Because I remember Lewis Howe saying in his podcast and in all of his books that I've read, the the Greatness Mindset is his most recent book. And he talks about that. He's like, you can't be both upset or angry and grateful at the same time time. It's like each emotion overrides the other. So I would much rather and prefer to be in a grateful state and keep working towards being in a grateful state.
And I'll be honest, like, I was like preparing for this live and I'm like feeling a bit flat today, like energy wise. But that's okay because we all have moments like that where we're. Our energy might be off or oh. Tammy 3287, welcome to LIVE. Thanks for tuning in. And that's partly because I did a huge, like, dog walk today. It was like 64 minutes or 74 minutes or something like that on our regular route because I like to take it because it's, you know, the sun's shining, a super nice day. And then mowed the lawn and then, yeah, I did a bunch of stuff and then, I mean, my wife worked out.
So feeling, yeah, just like energy's like, like, like zapped. So. But it feels good to do this. It's therapeutic. And I know it'll help other people too, to let you know, like, hey, like, I'm on. I'm, you know, we're not always as a contributor. We're not always at 100% or feeling like we're 100% and that's okay. And, and utilizing this strategy. Like Speakwander said, three memories, three blessings, three intentions. Yeah. Tammy 3287, if you're comfortable, let me know in the comments. Things that you do to help you acknowledge your, what you appreciate, things that you appreciate in your life.
Let me know if you're comfortable to help highlight what you're grateful for, what you appreciate when things are tough, when times get tough, when life throws a curveball, right. Those moments of finding what we're grateful for and what we appreciate more helps us in times of turbulence or turmoil or life setbacks so yeah, it's definitely, definitely helps a lot when you're in, when you're in that state. And it's also helps you do that quick state change mentally to get yourself in a better mental space, mental health headspace.
So. So yeah, so that's a really good strategy for building, building better mindset. And then just, and then when you, when you do that on a regular basis for highlighting what you appreciate and what you're grateful for, then, you know, then you, you, you see that more. You can see those things and they'll be more visible to you because sometimes when we don't acknowledge them on a regular basis, we don't write them down. They're more, they feel more invisible. But they're always, they've always been there, but they could become more visible because we're acknowledging them.
None of that. I'll bring Pino into the. He's just unsure about this ring light. So I'm just like, I don't want him barking during the live, like being part of the live. So yeah, Pino's gonna be part of the live today. I'll add him into the. To the next lives too. I think you guys will like it. So, yeah, so use a journal or like a physical journal that you write down in or a digital journal or in your notes app and use Speak Wonder strategy. Oh, I guess that's it. Cipino. I guess I'm gonna try to try and see how long he lasts in each live.
And then he, he just jumped down. But that'll be fun. I'll sit in a different spot on the couch and bring the ring light out there and then he can, then he can sit with me during the live. But yeah, let's Cadre sphere. Let's use that strategy. Three memories, three blessings, three intentions. And then if we can't figure out and pinpoint those exact things that we're grateful appreciative, just use 13 memories or 3 blessings or 3 intentions and you start mapping it out on paper, pen to paper or, or if you like prefer it on your tablet or your phone, even doing it that way too.
So hopefully guys will enjoy this live and hopefully you gain some value from it. And if you like this kind of style of content, you want to see additional content. I do. I'm active daily on my TikTok page and my YouTube channel again. YouTube channel, ISEP and TikTok mindset. And I'm so grateful to be a Cadre contributor. I've seen myself that I've grown. Three things you appreciate about your life. About those you love, about your friends, about your family. I guarantee it'll help you feel better. If you're not having the best day, or if you're having a great day, it'll just enhance it even further. Ciao.
