  1. 0:03Faith Hunter: Let's do a little bit of grounding today

Faith Hunter: Today we're going to do a little bit of grounding. She says it's time for us to pause, reflect, and ground. Find a comfortable seat and take a deep breath in and out.

  2. 1:40Practice involves placing your right hand underneath your left arm

And before we move into a moment of stillness, I want us to really drop into our body container. One of the practices that I loved using for that is to take my right hand and place it right underneath my left arm. Armpit.

Hello. Hello there, Cadre family. How are you guys doing? Happy Friday. It's another moment in time in our week, and it is time for us to just pause, reflect, and ground. For those of you that don't know me, my name is Faith Hunter, and today we're going to do a little bit of grounding. There's some people coming on. Hello, hello, hello. I want to say that my. My week has been long. I'm sure yours has been as well. And that's one of the reasons why I decided to do a live stream today. I wanted to ground myself, but I just felt like you guys needed some grounding as well.

So find a comfortable seat. I'm sitting on my sofa right now. You can cross your legs, you can uncross your leg, like, however you want to. Getting your body totally, totally works. The thing that I want you to do before we really jump in is to take a nice deep breath in. So let's do that together. Deep inhale, exhale out of the mouth. I think we should do that two more times. Deep breath in through the nose. And one more time, deep breath in. Oh, and then go on and seal your lips. Hopefully that quick little moment of breath allowed you to arrive.

And before we move into a moment of stillness, I want us to really drop into our body container. And one of the practices that I loved using for that is to take my right hand and place it right underneath my left arm. Armpit. The thumb is kind of sticking out. And then you have the left hand, and your left hand is going to grab the outside of your right shoulder right around your bicep and tricep area.
