Hello Cadre. It is Wednesday. This is a wonderful day to be outside if you are in the Midwest. Come on in and have a talk with me. Today is a really good day.
Today marks 100 day of being consistent. My goal is to read the whole Bible in 365 days. Consistency is about doing things repetitiously or habitually. Whatever you've been doing, Celebrate.
Speak Wonders. What is the area in your life where you've been consistent? Building consistency is having a routine that links things together. Celebrate every small victory, every small win. Today is the day to celebrate.
I will see you next Wednesday. Empowering, encouraging and lifting up one another. So take care. Peace out.
Hello Cadre. Hello. Hello, hello. How are you? Come on in. It is Wednesday. This is a wonderful day to be outside if you are in the Midwest. So come on in and have a talk with me. Today is a really good day. It's a really good day because I said it is. What's up MMC22 welcome to get to the Root with Rachel. I'm glad you're chiming in. It is pretty windy out so I really hope I'm outside today for this talk. So bear with the wind. It feels great. But I know Today is my 100th day of reading the whole.
My goal is to read the whole Bible in 365 days. Today I reached day 100. I am so excited. I am so pumped up. I just been dancing and walking, celebrating because what it signals to me is the word consistency. And I know a lot of us desire consistency in our workout consistency like checking off our to do list and all those things. But today marks 100 day of being consistent. Now I'll be honest, it was not every single day. Consistency is even if you follow track, you intentionally get back on track.
So my question for you today Cadre family is what is one thing you desire to be consistent in or that you have been consistent? Today we're talking about consistency and I'm celebrating my 100 day of reading the Bible in a year. Yes, 100 day. And I was just reminding people that consistency is about doing things repetitiously or habitually. Know what have you been striving? And I was about to say one of the things I've been consistent in is showing up on Cadre every every Wednesday at 11am so there is consistency in and around us always.
So my encouragement and see all these people who's posting like being consistent in their weight loss journey. You can feel like me and that is not me. But it's not meant to be you. You are meant to be you and your journey and your level of consistency is so unique. So I just want to encourage you. Whatever is whatever you've been doing, Celebrate. Celebrate. If you've been consistent one day in a row, two days, three days, five, six, seven, 10, 50. Calling your friend consistently for accountability.
Celebrate if you have been sober more than one day, celebrate if you've been smiling and not allowing the weight of the world to take you over more than one day, celebrate if you've been consistent in taking your medication for your mental or physical well being. Celebrate. Celebrate. Celebrate yourself. Celebrate. Be glad. Rejoice. Even if you go and get A balloon just for yourself. Flowers, A treat from the grocery store. Play your favorite song, Wear your favorite shirt. What's up? Speak Wonders.
I want you to celebrate. So speak Wonders. This is the question for the day. What areas of your life have you been intentionally working in where you notice you have been consistent? So thank you, I appreciate that because there are so many times where I was tired and I did not want to read it or I could have been doing something else. So I want to hear from you. What is the area in your life where you've been consistent? And consistent can mean more than one day. It can mean several days fell off and return back to your plan.
But you just keep str. So share with me, speakwanderluke and anyone else that hops on. Let's celebrate. Today is the day to celebrate. Even if it's one day, two days, three days. What have you been consistent? As you write this in the chat, I want to remind you ways to be consistent. It is coming up with your simple plan. So your simple routine could look like a three step thing, right? A three step process. So for instance, in the morning I wake up, I have time with the Lord, I get the kids to school.
Those are my three things. So sometimes my day can also look like it could be a four step. I wake up, I spend time with the Lord, I take the kids to school and then I go work out. So that's my four step plan. So what is your the way to build consistency is having a routine that links things together. Okay. So speak. One that says she's been consistent in moving her body and walking more. Absolutely. I am so happy for you. Keep it up. Stay moving. Stay moving. Yes. I'm happy for you. Keep it up. It's so therapeutic to walk.
That's what I'm doing right now. I am walking. It is. It is one of those things that helps me regulate. So yes, awesome. Speak wonder. So speak wonder. And anyone else. The key with consistency or one of the keys to building consistency is to link it, have it, have it linked to small tasks that you already do in the day. Just add it on. Okay. Another key thing is what we're doing today. It is another key thing is to celebrate and to do it with a friend or accountability. So for my journey of reading the Bible in one year, I am doing it with three other people.
So my husband, my best friend and her husband. So we have a group chat and I and I posted in our group chat that Today is my 100th day and everyone is on their own journey. Like my husband, he like crashed it and he, he's, he's done 65 of the 66 books in like four months. Yeah, he, he just slept, ate and drink the work. Right. But I'm taking my time but I'm building consistency. Yes. Thank you. Happy Wednesday, Luke. And so do it with a friend, have accountability. Even if it's you know, them reminding you, checking in on you or you just giving a report.
Thank you, I appreciate that. I appreciate that. I enjoy you as well. Thank you. So building consistency is linking small tasks together where it's like automatic. It's like brush your teeth, brush your hands, to comb your hair. It's all done like all at one time. Right. So that is the same way whatever goal you are trying to achieve because consistency link it together. The second thing is to do with accountability. So where you can just do regular check ins, you can do it together and that you can celebrate with them at the end.
And so today I'm celebrating with Cadre. I am celebrating with Cadre and encouraging you to think about ways you can celebrate your consistency. Okay. And then the last one is to track. It's to track it. So on my app, on the Bible app that I'm using like I have it's number each day and so you know, as I got to day 10, I'm like oh my goodness. When I got to book five, I'm like oh my goodness. We are making track it, track it. So some people use Fitbit Apple watches days. So those are my tips for you today.
Thank you so much for chiming in. I want to keep encouraging you. I'm going to post something in the chat because hey, it's all about building consistency that you celebrate yourself today. You are absolutely worth it. Absolutely worth it. Celebrate every small victory, every small win. Celebrate it. Even if it's a verbal affirmation to yourself. If you pass it on social media, you celebrate you because you are worthy and you are worth it. Thank you so much everyone. I will see you next Wednesday.
Empowering, encouraging and lifting up one another. So take care. Peace out. It.
