Happy Saturday. It's definitely my favorite day of the week. Thank you all for joining and spending time with me on a Saturday. Sometimes, especially lately, I can feel lonely.

I would encourage you to spend some time this weekend just hitting up or texting or calling someone.
Hello, everybody. Happy Saturday. I love spending some Saturdays with you. I guess the best day of the week. It's definitely my favorite day of the week. No doubt. Or you don't have any work and you don't also have the Sunday scaries where you're dreading going to work the next day. I personally don't feel that because I love my job, but just in general. But thank you all for joining and spending time with me on a Saturday. I especially appreciate it because just to be honest with you all, sometimes, especially lately, I can feel lonely.
And that's something that I wanted to talk about a little bit today. For most of you know that I live in Arizona right now. I'm originally from Wisconsin. I've gone to all around the country, going back and forth. And because I live in Arizona. Thank you, Luke, for joining. Hello. Because I live in Arizona, a lot of my friends and family are not here. I don't know anybody in Arizona. I just moved here for a job. So that that can be a challenge. And I'm sure some of you feel that, too. Whether you've moved, whether you've just as you get older, it's hard sometimes to be distant from people you were close to in the past and struggle to make those connections at times.
So just being honest there, and also something that's uplifting me with that and something I talk to a lot about with my athletes and performers that I work with and the soldiers that I work with in the US army is utilizing your support system. So another thing, another key life event is I'm getting married next October. I don't know why it took me a second to think of that, but next October, and I just finished writing. I won't show the front has their picture, but I just finished writing some cards for my groomsmen.
I was able to ask three of them in person, but because of situations where I'm living across country, I'll have to ship my, my little proposal package, if you want to call it that, to them. And that was a big cup filler. I finished that yesterday, and I'm going to ship them off today. And just writing those little notes of gratitude, really important. That could be, you know, obviously a big event, like asking someone to be in your wedding party and be by your side in your wedding day is a big event.
But it can be something as little as just writing or giving someone a text saying you appreciate them. A little gratitude letters here and there, just in person. When you do see them, hold that hug a little extra longer. Just appreciate the connections that you do have because that's so important. And then in addition to that, I'm going to spend a lot of today just having phone calls with a bunch of different friends. Thank you, Jules. I appreciate that. And then Luke, I can feel that, too, man.
Yeah. It's definitely a common emotion. I think I'm not alone in that. And I know that we all probably have gone through that maybe like one friend or just life events where we don't feel as close to someone as we used to. So today I've got three calls, three phone calls lined up. I know it feels like a busy work day, but I'm excited. It was just reaching out to some old friends. I'm gonna go for some walks. It's sunny in Arizona, which surprisingly, during the day, is very expected. That's not the surprising part, but if you've never been to Arizona in the summer, the monsoon season in southern Arizona sucks.
Like, every night it's raining and lightning and thundering like crazy out in this desert. But I'm going to enjoy the weather while it's nice. Go for some walks. Probably gonna get. If the people I'm talking to, we can get into some good conversations. So I'll probably get about 20,000 steps today if I'm always walking while talking. So I'm excited for that. Excited to reconnect with those people. I'm excited to write letters to my friends, let them know how much they mean to me, ask them to be my wedding and just rekindle that connection.
So if you're feeling lonely or if you ever have felt lonely, most recently, just know that you have a support system out there that you can utilize. You just have to do something about it and maybe you have to initiate it. Hopefully the other person might initiate it, but meet in the middle. And I would encourage you to spend some time this weekend just hitting up or texting or calling someone that you love, someone that you want to be closer to, and just talk to them, whether it be a family member or a friend.
And I'm excited to do that today, so go out and do that.
