  1. 0:02Stefan Cadresphere talks about mindfulness meditation on Cadres Wednesday

Stefan: This is mindfulness Wednesdays here on the cadres, and I want to talk a little bit about practice, specifically mindfulness meditation practice. We focus our attention on some anchor. The basics of the practice are fairly straightforward.

Hey, Cadresphere. Let's see. Hi, this is Stefan. This is mindfulness Wednesdays here on the cadres, and I want to talk a little bit about practice, specifically mindfulness meditation practice, including the instructions for practice, and dive a little bit deeper into one of the three steps that we talked about in my previous livestream, which I'll summarize in a few moments. I'll also share a story that maybe I'll regret sharing. I don't know. So in my previous livestream, we talked a little bit about the kind of foundational practice for mindfulness meditation.

And this is a simple practice where we sit and observe some anchor. We focus our attention on some anchor. Hey, Lynn, girl. Welcome. So the basics of the practice are fairly straightforward. First, we take our seat, which is hey, Luke. Welcome. So the first step in kind of our mindfulness practice is to take our seat. And I'm sitting in a chair today, but I often take my seat sitting on a meditation cushion on the floor behind me. But if you're sitting in a chair, that's totally cool. You can also do this standing up.

You can do it lying down. Some people like to sit on a bench. And when I've been on retreats, so I've been on these like, ten day silent retreats many times and often.
