Hey, folks, how you doing? Nick the poet. Welcome to take a walk with Nick. So glad that you could join me today. I'm realizing that I have some toothpaste in my beard, so please excuse that. But as they say, the show must go on. So yeah, thanks for joining today. Maybe you want to take a walk outside. Maybe you want to take a walk around the kitchen. Maybe you want to stay seated right where you are. That's totally cool. And today I just wanted to share ten different ways that you can be creative.
But I wanted to combine it with something interesting and write it in the style of Shakespeare. So, a disclaimer. I may or may not have had the help of AI do this. I do use chat GPT quite a bit for work. Junk food junkie. Thanks so much for joining. Hey Katie, how you doing? Thanks for hopping on. Today I'm sharing ten ways that we could be creative written in the style of William Shakespeare. So the first is seek ye the company of diverse minds, for in their discourse, new ideas find life. So yeah, seek ye the company of diverse minds.
You know, cadres a great place to go for that. You know, I oftentimes will say, you know, kind of a prayer to the universe, lead me to inspiring people, you know, because that's really going to get your creative ideas flowing. You know, it could be an online community, it could be other groups, you know, but keep on seeking that diverse company. Number two is to look upon nature's grand design. High speak wonder. Thank you for joining. So this is, number two is look upon nature's grand design. Its beauty doth inspire thoughts most fine.
So that's why I love to take a walk. The nature and the movement just helps me to think of new ideas. It helps me to be creative. It helps me to come up with solutions. Number three, in the pages of ancient lore, seek wisdom's hidden store. In the pages of ancient lore, seek wisdom's hidden store. And so this one is basically saying that, you know, if a book has been around for 30 years and people still really dig it, there's probably wisdom in there. There might be wisdom in scriptures of all different religions, you know, and old books, all this kind of stuff is good.
So it doesn't necessarily have to be the newest thing. You know, you can seek that wisdom from ancient times because a lot of times the ancients, they knew things that we don't know and that we can apply today. And they like to take walks just like we do. Number four, let music's sweet melody unlock thy mind's treasury. So music is a hidden, you know, or it's not a hidden. It's. It's just a major gem of life. You know, if we're listening to music, we're feeling better. It can take us all kinds of places.
Junk food junkie says, also, just sit quietly. Yeah, just sit quietly. You know, it's hard for me sometimes to just sit quietly, but to do that, we're going to get those, those new ideas, those insights. And so sometimes we just need to sit there and breathe. You're totally right. So number five is, take up thy quill and freely write. Let not judgment hinder thy creative flight. So sit down and just start writing, and don't let that part of the mind that tells you, you know, you're not doing it right or that, you know, any of that judgment comes on.
Just kind of let it flow, especially in the first draft of things. And whether you're working at a work email or a book or whatever you're doing, you know, try to take that judgment out of it. Number six, this one's. This was what junk food junkie's talking about. In quiet reflection, let thy mind wander, and on possibilities ponder. Let thy mind wander, and on possibilities ponder. So, yeah, the imagination works slowly and quietly. We're often in a hurry to get things done, but it doesn't mean that our imagination is in that hurry.
So as much as possible, we can really slow down. Number seven is to craft a tale or two for in storytelling insights anew, so we can use. Hey, Cadre, welcome. Yes, we're just doing ten ways to be more creative in shakespearean style. So number seven is craft a tailor to. For in storytelling, insights anew. So storytelling is the most powerful, you know, really force on the planet. It's a major reason of what we're doing here at Cadre. So use that storytelling. You could use it in your job. You could, instead of trying to convince someone, say, in sales, to buy a product, tell them a story instead.
Tell them how that product or that service has changed your life. Number eight is to engage in artful play, for it doth open new pathways, and so hard work doesn't necessarily need to be serious. We can bring that play to it. We can bring that play to creativity. You know, I'm a tennis player. I love to walk, but even before that, I really love to play tennis. And, you know, if we can bring that joy of the game into what we're doing, it's just gonna make everything way better. Number nine, embrace the unknown.
For from uncertainty, creativity, is grown. So creativity is oftentimes in that uncertain zone, that area maybe that we find in meditation or in writing where, you know, we don't know the next creative move to make, right? There's some uncertainty in that, and sometimes we need to be bold and take a risk with our creativity. Number ten is challenge convention. This is tied into that one challenge convention with bold intent. From broken rules, new art is lent. So you may need to learn the rules to break the rules, right?
And so that is a big part of creativity. You know, learn from the masters. You know, if you're a filmmaker, learn from Steven Spielberg. If you're a writer, learn from William Shakespeare, learn the rules so then that you can break them and forge new ground. So those are ten ways that you could be more creative today with some shakespearean flair, partially with some AI, definitely added components, major AI help, but yeah, I mean, you know, maybe try some of these AI tools. This is a bit of a tangent, but chat GPT is really interesting.
For video. There's this thing called opus clips. Opus clips and then pica AI. These are a couple things I've just used in the last week that are really interesting. So I still like, you know, doing the handwritten writing and I also like exploring these AI tools. So anyways, I hope you're having an awesome day. I wished you a whole lot of peace, positivity and prosperity. And like junk food junkie says, challenge yourself to do the unthinkable things. Okay, you guys have an awesome day. I'll talk to you later.
