  2. 0:07There is a time for everything in every situation, Barbara says

There's always a time for everything under the sun. What season are you in right now? Sometimes it's kind of in between. But oftentimes, when it is more difficult time, we have to have that patience and knowing that it's temporary.

Oh, man. I don't know what happened. I just got booted. But we'll try this again. Okay. Let's see. All right, so, I think. I don't know what the last thing I said was, but I'm Barbara. I'm part of the Cadre team, and I'm going to read a page from the always faithful prayer devotional. This is a weekly devotional that I wrote, and I wrote it in a specific way. So the topic for today is, there is a time for everything under the sun. And the way that I wrote it is in the first part, I wrote what I imagined God would say about this topic.

And then I have my own thoughts, I share a scripture, and then I leave you with a question to just think about, or maybe even journal about, if that's your thing. So let's read. There is a time for everything in every situation. My timing is perfect as the cycle of life unfolds. Before you trust that I am moving about, meticulously, overseeing and bringing all things together, allow my peace to fill you through every season, knowing that I am always in full control. It's so hard to know that, right?

It can be a lot easier to get through some of life's greater challenges when we understand that God has already established a time for everything under the sun. There will be a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time to build and a time to tear down, a time to be silent and a time to speak. Everything will happen at the appointed time. And we can take comfort knowing that it is all by the design of our loving father. I underlined the word knowing because when we constantly put in the work to learn God's word and know what he says, we come to a place of knowing.

And that's where we have to return during especially challenging times in our lives, because we all have times of challenge, times of difficulty. You're in a season right now. It could be a fruitful season, or it could be a painful season. I mean, there's just. There's always a time for everything under the sun. Ecclesiastes three one says, there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens. Hey, good morning, guys. And the question that I want to ask is, what season are you in right now?

Sometimes it's kind of in between. Right. We have so many different things going on around us. It could be a season of some struggles in one area, but bliss in another. So it all depends. But oftentimes, when it is more difficult time, we have to have that patience and knowing that it's temporary. It's gonna be okay. God's in full control. I can only do what I can do. I can only be in control of certain things, and so that's what I'm gonna focus on, and I'm gonna leave the rest and surrender it to God, because, again, he's in full control.

So something to keep in mind and remember and kind of hold on to, especially during times of challenge, and I am going to leave you with that. I hope you have an amazing Thanksgiving with your families, with your friends, with your food, because I know I am. I love me. And pie. Oh, and the sweatshirt. I love my Cadre sweatshirt. I just got to try not to get makeup on it anyway. All right, thanks for being here, and I will see you again next time. Bye, guys.
