Hello. Hello. You're in the kitchen with Dan. Welcome. I'm glad to have you here. No, Jack, I was just saying hi to everybody on camera. Jack, nobody's here. Well, everybody's here. I said hello to you all. And my dog Jack thought we were welcoming somebody at the door. He's very social, so he got excited. Do you want to say hello to everybody? Come here. Come here, Jack. Come here. Say hello to everybody. This is Jackson. We just take a quick minute. He wanted to say hello to everybody. Right. Okay, you go on.

All right. Now, like my grandma told me, whenever you pet the dog, you got to wash your hands to hold that. In 1 minute, we'll watch it up. All right, Jack. All right. Not the way we expected to start today, but, you know, gotta go with the flow. So welcome. I am Dan Cunningham. I am a life organization and culinary coach here in Cadre. I'm a content creator. And I want to share something with you today that has really changed the way a lot of people cook, especially those that have special dietary needs.

So I filmed and posted a video recently that went viral, as they say. It got a lot of views and a lot of comments. And what I, what I made and posted was a dry cream of chicken soup mix to use in place of cream of chicken soup cans. People loved this idea because it allowed them to really have more control over the ingredients that went into so many of these casseroles and recipes that call for cream of whatever soup. So this powdered mix, and here it is right here, this powdered mix really excited people because it's more healthy and it's Shelf Stable for six months.

You can keep, keep this on hand to make any recipe that calls for a can of soup. Cream of. So this is cream of chicken. You can also change the flavor. You can do cream of celery or cream of mushroom. And we'll talk later about that. Actually, you just, you know, you add the diced celery. We taught people how to dehydrate celery. Mushrooms, you can get mushroom powder. So there's all DIfferent things that you can do to make this dry soup mix. I'm going to tell you exactly how to do that. But more importantly, so many of the comments that I got were concerning people that were vegan and had gluten allergies and wanted to know what kind of flour they could use in the recipe.

But I think the, the item in that mix, which is chicken bouillon powder, that one ingredient really affected people in how and how they could use this. A lot of people couldn't use it with the cream of chicken. I'm sorry, the chicken bouillon powder. Because of their gluten allergy or they were vegan vegetarian. And so this is where we landed here. So today, what I'm going to teach you how to make is a vegan chicken bouillon. Chicken flavor bouillon copy cat. That is healthy. It's low sodium, and the recipe really allows you to control exactly what goes in it.

So here is the recipe for a vegetarian vegan cream of chicken soup bouillon. This is a mock cream of chicken soup. So the first. The first ingredient is nutritional yeast. Nutritional yeast is a fantastic thing to keep on hand. It has a cheesy flavor. It's deactivated yeast. It's great for your immune system, great for hair and nails. But it smells so good. It smells like cheese, and it's really good for you. So one cup of nutritional yeast. Now, I'm mixing it in this little plastic deli container, because after I'm done throwing everything in, I'm gonna blend it.

I'm using a wand, blending. What do they call these? Blending stick hand blender? Immersion blender. I'm gonna use the immersion blender to mix everything up. Hi, Brian. All right, so one cup of nutritional yeast. Put that right in here. I'm gonna scoot you down so you can see what I'm doing. Making a mess, which is also kind of fun. All right, one cup of the nutritional yeast. Look at the mouse I'm making. Okay. And next, we have a quarter cup of sea salt. Now, again, if you want to go low salt, you can do low salt.

This is why I love these mixes. Really gives you the control over what you're putting into your body. Alright, so, so far, we have our nutritional yeast and we have our salt. Next going in is one quarter cup of onion powder. As you can tell, this is gonna make a lot. So you are only gonna have to do this every once in a while. And these are a lot of spices in volume. One quarter cup onion powder, one quarter cup garlic powder. It's smelling good. Okay. And you don't have to be exact with these. Right?

We're just doing. We're just doing basically what they say. A quarter cup of parsley flakes. Dried parsley flakes. All right. One tablespoon of sage. This is dried sage. I have measuring spoons that help with that. They're the elongated ones that allow you to get right inside. But we're good. Okay. And we've got two teaspoons of dried thyme. Two teaspoons. One. Two teaspoons of dried rosemary. There is my rosemary. Two teaspoons of rosemary. Teaspoon. One, two. And don't worry about writing all this down.

I'm gonna, I'm gonna post the recipe. I'll post them in the comments here after this video is posted. And it'll always be there for you. And. All right, where did we leave off dried rosemary? Now we. Two teaspoons of turmeric. I mean, so many good herbs in here. Turmeric is great for inflammation. Okay. And what else do we have? A little bit of black pepper. Two teaspoons of black pepper. And I like to do it round. I like to do a little ground, fresh ground. So we'll just fold this over here. Alright, so what we're going to do with this is we are going to drop the immersion blender into this and get this all ground up.

You know, so many people were excited about this because of the contents of the canned soups. They weren't able to make a lot of the recipes that are so good. And when I, when I posted this video, it really opened up a lot of possibilities for people that have had serious dietary restrictions that it have prevented them from, from cooking. A lot of those old use the can of cream soup recipe. All right, now I just take the immersion blender and I just blend it in a little bit. Will fly out there.

It's okay. Now I do this in a couple steps, cover it, give it another shake. It's a fun mess, though. All right, immersion blender back in. Ta da. All right, so here is the recipe that's gonna rock your world. All right, here is the vegan cream of chicken, I'm sorry, chicken bouillon powder. Now here is the powder that you can use in place of any canned soup that's called for in a recipe. The recipe is two cups of dry milk powder, two and a half cups of all purpose flour. Now, for vegan, for gluten, for any type of allergy that involves the all purpose flour, replace that with almond flour, coconut flour, rice flour, whatever your body can handle.

Replace that all purpose flour with whatever you're using as an all purpose flour replacement. One quarter cup of chicken bouillon powder, which can be found in the soup aisle right next to the soups. You're going to use this in place of the one quarter cup chicken bouillon for vegan vegetarian. There's also gluten in a lot of the chicken bouillon powders out there on the market. So this opens up possibilities for a lot more people, which is what I love to do here. And then you're gonna add two tablespoons of dried onion.

So that's what this mix contains. It's got the two cups of milk powder, one and a half cups of all purpose flour, a quarter cup of chicken bouillon, and two tablespoons of dried onion. So you take a half a cup of this powder and mix it with one and one quarter cup water or milk. And that gives you a can of creamed soup. The mix and your liquid or the can boot out the chicken bouillon. Put in the vegan. Now this is fantastic. To mix with water as a hot bouillon beverage. You can use this to flavor soups and stews.

It's absolutely fantastic. So much better for you. A lot of people can't take the chicken bouillon in their diet for whatever reasons. Now, we've made a vegan option, vegetarian option, that dry powder mix you can keep in your pantry for six months. And again, use a half a cup of the dry mix, one and a quarter cup of milk or water, mix those together, and that you have, that equals a can of cream soup. And there you go. I hope you enjoyed the info today. Like I said, I will post the contents of both of these recipes in the comments.

Please leave me a comment and let me know how you enjoyed this video. What you'd like to see coming up.
