Hey everybody. Just over here, jamming a little. Thought I'd pop in on a Saturday. I'm just gonna hang out for a minute. Jamming. One of my favorite artists. Rufuss Saul. They're going on? Tour soon and I'm missing all of it. They're actually on tour. They're coming to min. Minneapolis and I'm gonna miss it. Huh almost changed a flight to make the show. Something about it though. So just said, I'd bring some good energy in here. Giving some pause, giving a breath. Breath little smile waiting to see if anyone wants to join in today.

Saturday afternoon. Four 30 in Minneapolis. And I don't know about you, but today. I've had a rare chill day, literally. Woke up a little late. Not really late, but woke up later than I do during the week. Took major for a walk to the. Uh, mill district. It farmer's market. Mill city farmers market, just over this Swan arch bridge, we got to go for a nice long. Walk today. And here's why? So one for you, one for me. What does that even mean? You see the description? You're like, I don't get what this is.

Are we. Handing out Skittles. If it was Skittles, it'd be like one for you three. For me, let's be clear. Uh, I'm kidding. I would share equally. Uh, what I wanted to come out here and just share. Something that I'm doing recently. I am in a massive purge. So energetically speaking. The year, the horse. I can come out here and do an entire. Conversation, probably 20. About the year of the horse. But here's what I'm gonna share last week, we had a solar eclipse, so. Energetically speaking. Uh, astrologically speaking.

There was a really powerful. Solar clips. And if you were in Spain, or in Lebanon, uh, you got to see this beautiful event. And the eclipse happen for two minutes and 38 seconds. It's a long. Time where the moon sits on top of the sun. And everything goes dark around it. And it's just a really. Beautiful reminder. To take a pause, take a breath to experience something magical. So while I've been going through this massive purge, I've been. Posting things on Poshmark and invented. And if it doesn't go there, I look to see if it's good enough to donate locally.

If. It's not, then I buy these trashy bags because then it can be recycled. That's a different story for maybe a different. Chat, but today's chat one for you. One for me. So, I don't know about you, but I love flowers. I love buying them for myself. I love when I receive them. Doesn't matter. I just love being around them. Cherry blossoms are my favorite. So when you can walk around. Some cherry blossom trees and you just. Feel and breathe that sense that. Just is so inspiring, but. Like many of us, I end up getting a lot of these.

Little glass jars. Jars that are containers for flowers. Which is great. Somebody is. Gifting you some flowers and they're kind enough. That they're giving you a vase for those as well. But I was going through cupboards and literally everything (laugh) is. Up for getting rid of I'm going through everything little by little. And I found that I had. A pretty decent amount. Of these glass jars now. Basis. Normally what I might do is try to donate them to Goodwill. Or try to recycle them. Because maybe they're not gonna get used.

And, and I wouldn't think anything else of it. But here's what I decided instead. It was a unique opportunity to pay forward. What somebody has done for me at some point in time. So this morning on our walk. To the farmer's market. I went and sought out. A Stan that had some really nice flyer. Flowers at a good price point. And I bought a couple of bouquets of flowers. And I brought 'em home and I set it out. All the flowers and I cut 'em up and I pulled out the vase and I started. Making before I taught my spin class this morning, I started making.

A couple of bouquets. Bouquets and I made two bouquets. Bouquets took him to our spin studio before I taught my spin class. And gave one to the instructor that taught before me and one to our manager that was working in. The studio, just because and they loved it. They just felt so seen. And appreciated, and it was simple. So I had extra bases. Bases a lot of extra flowers (laugh) and so I continued my story. So tomorrow I'm going to. Brunch with a couple of girlfriends. Girlfriends. And I took one of these glass faces.

Faces and some of the flowers from the farmer's market. And I made a bouquet. Bouquet now, I'm not saying I'm a florist. I'm not even saying I'm very creative. But I do love flowers and I do love bringing smiles to people's face. Faces. So this is one of my bouquets with my repurposed face. I have a second bouquet with my repurposed face. Are they pretty huh I'm so like excited by how they turned out. Different style bass. Different flowers. Now here's what else? I decided is I love going to art fairs in the summer.

And oftentimes people will make pottery. Pottery. So this summer as I decided to get rid of a lot of these glass faces that I never. Used, I wanted to be very intentional with the ones that were left behind. So at a craft fair on stone arch bridge, a few, probably about a. Month ago, I found this cute little vase. It's just small enough. Has some really cute design work in it. And it's just small enough that I can make a tiny little bouquet that I can set on my desk. So I made a small bouquet. Bouquet for my desk.

And then this part here. I got at a different art fair. From this girl who is 20 years old. And decided that she loved a pottery class that she had taken in college. And wanted to continue to do this. And what was great is I saw this one. It's pretty unique. The texture isn't smooth. It's actually considered a wood fire. Um, pottery, which means that. Overnight for 24 hours, they took shifts. Shifts, um, putting wood into this big kiln. Kiln to make this design. So it actually looks as if there's fire.

Inside here. It got burnt. Burnt, uh, and really that's how it was created. It got burnt. Burnt and she made the cute design, but even better. I got to hear her story. So when I picked up this vase, her mom was sitting there with her and she shared her story with me and. I'm gonna tell you, watching her light up as I picked out. One of these particular salivates, which is really super hard to do. Uh, she just lit up. So this is a different base that I'm keeping for home. As one of the vases that has a piece of art, a really cool story.

And made a different bouquet for home. Now I'm gonna hand out these flowers tomorrow to my. Girlfriend's at brunch. But they're gonna have two. Requests. Well, they might be rules, but I don't know about rules. I like to break. Rules. So let's just call 'em requests. Requests. So the first request is I don't want the base back. (laugh). I'm purging. I don't wanna back. Even if you wanna gimme flowers, I love you. No. No, no, no. Uh, the second rule though, is, is to take the place and when the. Flowers are no longer put it on their shelf somewhere.

Put it someplace. And when someone that they. See needs, maybe something to brighten their day. They can use this as their pay it forward base. So we just continue to. Give that gift one for you. One for me. One for the next person and the next person and the next person. So I thought I'd pop in here on this beautiful Saturday to share my journey of the purge. Uh, and also uh, just something that seemed a little fun and light for today as a way to. Just pay something forward. I will post a picture of the flowers with major.

He helped to pick them out. And I hope you all have the most beautiful rest of your day. Wherever you're at whatever you're doing. And if it's a good day. Awesome. Roll with it. If it's a day where you're. Just feeling it. Maybe that's a day that you can. Just rest and listen to your body. Or maybe it's a day that you can use that energy to. Repurpose something else. That might bring yourself a little joy. In the moment I love you. You're here with us. We're here with you. And I am here on Fridays.

Fridays for breath. And I will be out here a little bit more often coming to you with some new topics. Topics soon hope your day is going well. And I look forward to seeing you soon.
