Oh, I didn't like that. I didn't like that I went from my Wi-Fi to my other Wi-Fi, so reduced image quality. Yeah, okay, it'll work out. Come on technology, keep up with me. So I wanted to show you guys this. So speak wonder if you're still there, let me know. We'll go back to the good Wi-Fi in a second, but I wanted to show you what I'm working on currently in my backyard. So as part of my Personal anxiety journey. I am going to be doing more gardening this year. So we have two garden locations here in our backyard.

So if you wonder where a lot of the wood chips that are in my front yard are going, it's back here to this space here in the back because it has been very soothing for me to work on these projects. and have a reason to be here in my backyard and to make it a little bit more, we'll call it sanctuary like and have something to do with my hands and something to work on that's not, hey, stare at my screen. So that is part of what I've been working on. And it really has come to light lately that that is a good practice for me because some of you may have noticed that I wasn't able to join you on Saturday morning and that was by no means intentional.

It was actually very very much the opposite. My intention was to join everybody Saturday morning. I had said that and when I signed off last Thursday that my intention was to join you on Saturday morning and then what ended up happening and hopefully you can still follow me and we'll get back in the spot over here And hopefully I didn't mess us up by going outside and showing you what I've been working on. If so, I'll work on the technology later. But what ended up happening on Saturday morning-- and I'm OK if I end up telling this story twice-- is I really did overcommit myself.

Because Friday night, I had a gig in Fargo, North Dakota, which is not that far from me. In theory, it's about 3 and 1/2 hours drive. And I had driven there for an event and decided that I wanted to be home on Saturday morning. m. from this gig. And of course, was still a little wired, glad that I wasn't tired on the way home, made it home. 30 AM. Woke up in the morning, hung out with my kiddo for a while. He ended up doing a do-over sleep. And I did one of those, hey, I'm just going to lay down for a few minutes was the goal.

I'll lay down for a few minutes. And next thing you knew, by the time I woke up, by then it was around 04. So my time. So still within the window of when I could do this live. And so my first response was, oh my gosh, you're letting everybody down. You should hop on. And you said you were going to do this. And of course, I started jumping into what mode can I do to rush to get this done, even though I was bleary-eyed and had just woken up. And then what I noticed is I noticed a text message I had gotten from a friend.

And this text message had shared some information because it turned out that Saturday was also International Breath Day. So a lot of breathwork practitioners I didn't know that there was an international forum for these were doing a day-long conference where they were all getting together and having a variety of different breathwork seminars throughout the day. And so Instead of rushing into this live that I had not had enough time to prepare for, what it seemed the best thing to do was instead was to take part in this breathwork thing and talk about this and use this as a time to actually exhale myself and refill.

Because I think as caregivers, we often talk about how we can't give from an empty cup. We need to refill and refuel ourselves. And it really just brought it home that, hey, this is your body telling you that you need to refill and refuel yourself. If I had fallen asleep that way and missed this opportunity, that was a note from me to say, hey, you should maybe slow down and take care of yourself a little bit. So that is where I kind of started the process again on Saturday So you have to remind yourself every once in a while, you are just as important and you can't be a quality caregiver as well as you would like to if you don't spend a little bit of time refilling and refueling.

So I encourage you to think about that for yourself. Maybe you're doing a little bit too much just like me trying to walk outside and mess up my Wi-Fi connection during this live. Maybe you're doing too much. But building in that time so that you can refill and refuel and figuring out what that looks like for you. Just like for me on Saturday morning, it was, hey, maybe you need to take a little disco nap and give yourself a chance to work on that. So a lot of what I'll be doing right now is working on a little bit of garden projects.

The completionist in me would like to see some sprouts. and that will give me a great deal of joy, probably similar to the dandelion that my friend Speak Wonder had this morning. So work on that throughout the week, friends. I will continue to check in with you. I don't have anything. aggressively egregious to do on Friday night. m. Central and join you. So I do hope that everything continues to work out for you throughout the week. I'll see how this live worked now that I went in and out, because I know that we've been doing some updates here in the app, which I greatly appreciate all of our tech team working on that.

And so hopefully I didn't make their life too hard. So everybody, be well to yourself, please. I hope that the day treats you well. If it doesn't, Shame on it, not shame on you. I'll see you all again very soon.
