Dr. Charisse Johnson is a psychotherapist, a mindfulness practitioner, and founder of Jade Integrative Counseling and Wellness. Her work sits at the intersection of mental health and mental fitness and everyday life. Her hope is that you rediscover your sense of agency and learn to rest without guilt.

You. Hi, I'm Dr. Charisse Johnson and I am so glad that you're here because everyone deserves a space where they can exhale, a place where they feel seen and supported and not judged for feeling stretched in or worn down by life. This is what you'll find in Cadre and a large part of why I choose to to be a contributor in this space. So a little About Me I'm a psychotherapist, a mindfulness practitioner, and founder of Jade Integrative Counseling and Wellness. My work sits at the intersection of mental health and mental fitness and everyday life, helping people slow down, reconnect with themselves and create rhythms that don't require constant recovery.

I myself have lived through burnout and I know how it feels to show up strong while quietly running on empty. And that's what fuels my passion for teaching others how to build mental fitness and sustainable well being. I'm here because I've learned that exhaustion is not your identity and healing doesn't mean starting over, it means starting to honor your capacity and recognizing that your capacity is going to be different than someone else's. As a key voice, I'll be sharing stories, neuroscience based insights and small realistic shifts that help you reconnect to yourself.

You'll see me in community meetups, in the Resource Guide and right here in conversation, listening, reflecting and helping you move from survival mode to to sustainable strength. I'm especially here for the people who wake up tired but keep showing up anyway. The ones holding careers, families and communities together while quietly wondering when is it their turn to rest? For anyone living on autopilot, feeling disconnected from themselves, or trying to recover from the cost of caring so deeply, this space is for you and my hope is that you rediscover your sense of agency, learn to rest without guilt, and remember that you are worthy of the same compassion you extend to others.

Thank you so much. So much for being here. I am so grateful we get to build this space together. One grounded in care, honesty and growth. Let's keep learning from each other and keep remembering. You don't have to burn out to be brilliant, to be worthy, or to make a difference.
