This year wasn’t about big breakthroughs. It was about small wins, mindset shifts, and watching my kiddo grow in ways I didn’t even know to imagine. As I head into 2026, I’m choosing buoyancy. Not forcing calm. Not pretending things aren’t hard. Just trusting my ability to float through whatever comes next. Here’s to parenting wins that don’t always look loud, but matter deeply. 💙 What word are you carrying into the new year?
As this year comes to a close, I can honestly say it's been a good one for us. The ability to move through choppy waters and still keep your head above the surface. Here's to another year of small wins that add up to something big in 2026.
As this year comes to a close, I can honestly say it's been a good one for us. Not because it was perfect or easy, but because it was full of small wins. Those tiny shifts in mindset and more moments of pride in my kiddo than I ever could imagine. And when I first started thinking about my word for 2026, the word grace came to mind. Grace for myself. Grace for my kiddo. Grace for the people around us as we all are figuring things out time and time again. And of course, that still fits. But the more I sat with it, the more another word Flo to the top of my mind.
Buoyancy. The ability to move through choppy waters and still keep your head above the surface. To not fight every wave and to trust that you don't have to be rigid to be strong. And that's how I'm stepping into 2026, with a buoyant mindset, ready to float when things get rough, steady when things are calm and open to whatever happens to come next. So here's to another year of small wins that add up to something big. Happy New Year, everybody. See you in 2026.
