  1. 0:02Cadre World focuses on four points as we transition into fall

Cadre World is focusing on the transition of season. I want us to remind ourselves that enough is everything. And I want you to focus on four points. Take these notes and revisit them.

  2. 2:32Letting go without losing your value is the first takeaway from autumn

Eddie Watson: Letting go without losing your value. Autumn reminds us that letting go doesn't make us less, it makes space for what is next. Watson: Make sure you remain and continue to be your authentic self. And remember that beauty is within every stage.

Good morning, Cadre World. And today is Wednesday, and it is going to be a wonderful, fabulous day for us. I am in South Carolina, and if the weather is the same way where you are, we are in that transition of season. You know, you wake up and it's chilly in the morning, and then by 12 or 1 o', clock, you are about to melt because the temperature has changed. It's gotten warmer outside. The wind is blowing. Good morning, Michelle. The wind is blowing and we're chilling. So we want to take those layers off.

Want to take those layers off and then, you know, come around four or five where we can see it's starting to get a little darker because we know that season is about to come and the time is going to change and. And we lose those extra hours in the afternoon, we start to feel it, you know, where we get a little chilly and we're just like, whoa, it is turning into fall. So as we look at the month of October, as we're actually winding down October, we move more so into that continued season of autumn, but also recognize that we are enough, and enough can be everything.

And I heard one person say, hey, we can have it all, but we can't have it all at the same time, which is a powerful statement. So today I want to take a look at a couple of things as we're focusing on fall. You know, when the world says, hey, we need more, when we transition into that season, that season of change, that season of growth, I want us to remind ourselves that enough is everything. So I want to focus on four points. And I want you to write this down. I want you to take these nuggets.

One great thing about Cadre, you are seeing it here live. But then you're going to be able to go back and revisit it. You know, go back and take those notes, go back and jot down those nuggets. So if you are in your office, grab a pen and paper and write these down. If you're in your vehicle, just listen, please. You know, make sure you're staying focused on that road. But there are four things that I want us to focus on today. When we talk about personal growth and when we talk about mental health and mental wellness.

So the first is letting go without losing your value. So letting go. And I want you to think about this. Letting go without losing your value. Good morning, Eddie. So if we think about trees, right? Trees don't apologize for shedding their leaves. Okay? I was outside yesterday with the broom, getting rid of those leaves that, that were in the walkway. And when we think about those leaves, they release what no longer needed to prepare for renewal. They release what's no longer needed to prepare for renewal.

So when we think about that and we think about personal growth, autumn reminds us that letting go doesn't make us less, it makes space for what is next. So letting go doesn't make us less, it's making space for what is coming next. And if we think about personal growth again, it reminds us that you are not defined by what you produce or what you hold on to. You're worthy. Your value in any season allows you, you know, to. To release that. So you are not defined. But what you produce and what you hold on to, you're worthy even in seasons of release.

And that takes me back to reminding ourselves we tend to outgrow people. We outgrow places, and we outgrow things. And knowing that is okay. It is not defining who we are or where we're going, but it's just saying, hey, you know, I've outgrown this and it's okay. And when we outgrow people, places and things, doesn't mean we have to shy away or not speak. No hey. We can say, hey, how you doing? Great. Keep those simple, short conversations. But sometimes we outgrow people, places, and things. So letting go without losing value is the first thing I want you to think about when we talk about the transitions in seasons and that personal growth.

So the second is slowing down without falling behind, slowing down without falling behind. So nature slows down in autumn. We just talked about it. You know, the days get shorter, and sometimes the earth seems a little bit more relaxed, and our mornings start a little a little earlier. And when we think about slowing down without falling behind, we too are invited to pause. We're invited to reflect. And then we're also invited to breathe. And autumn shows us that rest is not regression. We are allowing ourselves to hit that reset button.

We're allowing ourselves to restore. We're allowing ourselves to take in self care, where we're focusing on ourselves, reminding ourselves that we are enough even when we are still. And when we are still, it also allows us to take in those grounding techniques. We're focusing on those things that we see, touch, taste, feel, and hear, using our senses. And then taking that deep breath so we can be in that moment and not react to a situation, but be able to respond and. And respond with clarity. Third takeaway is I want you to remember that changing does not mean you have to lose your identity.

So when I say Changing and make sure we're not losing our identity and we're continuing to be our authentic self. We're going to take it back to those leaves, right? So leaves change color, but they remain a part of the same tree. Because if we think about the tree in your yard, we think about those trees in the park, we can tell when a season is changing because the leaves are going to look different. And likewise, when we focus on personal growth, your evolution doesn't erase your essence and autumn.

It reminds us that transformation is proof of life, not instability. So again, when we think about personal growth, growth does not require perfection, but it requires you to be present in that moment but also have peace. So as we go through these changes in life and personal growth, make sure you remain and continue to be your authentic self. Be that person that you were supposed to be and not that person that everybody else wants you to be. And lastly, remember that beauty is within every stage.

So again, thinking about fall. So fall. And we think about the landscape of fall. It grows when it's. It's. The ground is rich, the weather is at the appropriate temperature, and it's proof that there's beauty in endings. It whispers that you are enough at every stage. Whether we're blooming, whether we're fading, where we're dropping off our trees, but each phase holds its own kind of grace. So even for me yesterday, when I was out sweeping a little bit yesterday morning, you can see the grace in the presence of those leaves based on their shapes, the colors, and even some of them were a little torn on the edges.

But if we think about ourselves and personal growth through the journey of life, we're going to go through those seasons. They're going to be moments where someone may not be getting the best of us. We may be that leaf where we feel like, man, someone's trying to clip, you know, my wings and get the best of me. But reminding ourselves, I know my worth, I know my value. I am not going to allow this individual to get the worst of me. And I am making sure I am getting peace in this season as we transition into fall.

So remember the four takeaways that we discussed today. The first one, letting go without losing value. We have grow people, places, and things. And if we let go and when we let go, we are just making room for what's next because the best is yet to come for us. The second, slowing down without falling behind. Take that time to reflect. Take that time to figure out those things that you used to do that you enjoy doing, that you may not do anymore. Number three, changing without losing your identity.

Yes, we are changing, just like we change seasons. But make sure you continue to be your true, authentic self. And then lastly, beauty in every stage where we are embracing those imperfections, where we're not catastrophizing situations of personalizing them, or even overgeneralization, where we do one thing wrong and we apply it to everything that we do. Remind yourself that there is beauty in every stage. I know my worth. I know my value, and I am going to give myself grace. So thank you all for listening, and I hope to see you next Wednesday at 10:30 as we continue to focus on personal growth, mental health and wellness, and our ability to be the best of us.

Because you know what? The best is yet to come. Enjoy your Wednesday, and I will see you soon. Sam.
