Danielle Jochen talks about the difference between happiness and fulfillment. Why do you do something? Why? What's your why? Once you start doing that, it becomes easy actually. And happiness follows versus just doing something to feel temporary happy.

Hello, my name is Danielle Jochen and I'm here to talk about the difference between happiness versus fulfillment. What's the difference? Happiness typically is something that we have a goal to achieve, happiness. And that can be a meter that we all have, right? We are raising the level, the frequency of happiness in ourselves. But it also could be a thing that we feel like, once I get this thing, I'll be happy. Once I get this job, I'll be happy. Once I am in relationships, I'll be happy. Once I move to another state, I'll be happy, right?

A lot of times we end up getting the thing, the job, the relationship, the movement and it can temporarily bring happiness and then something falls away and then the happiness is gone. The job, the relationship, the move, all happened. So you should be happy and then still you're not. So happiness is more, can be fleeting. Like you can feel happy in moments, but there becomes a level of fulfillment of why you do something. Like what is the underlining current? What's the motivator for you to do something?

It fulfill like the action that you're doing is fulfilling something bigger, meaning your why, also known as your purpose. Why do you do something? Why? What? What's your why? The job? I mean it's a big question, right? What's your why? Why do you do the thing you do, right? My why is to create a sacred space for all beings everywhere to connect back to source and love. That's my why. That's, you know, the how of how I do that is through yoga, life coaching, conversation. There's different hows to get there.

But when I'm from my why and in that state of fulfillment, like happiness is inevitable, it's just going to come too. So happiness is more like fleeting. When our why or desires of doing something from that source of already feeling whole and complete is whole and complete, right? And we do the things to support our why and fulfill that why. So we already feel whole and complete. We don't have to do something to make ourselves feel better, that it's just going to be a temporary fix anyways. So look at what makes you feel fulfilled.

Get to your why. Why do you do what you do? Like mine is love. Like if I get down to one word, the word is to love, right? To remind others they are love and that the, the core is love. And yes, to create a sacred space. That's what I do to help people get access to healing and love. So that's the difference between happiness versus fulfillment. Why do you do what you do and how do you fulfill on that? Why? Once you start doing that, it becomes easy actually. And happiness follows versus just doing something to feel temporary happy.

And then you need to change again. All right, questions. Let me know. My name is Danielle. Thanks so much.
