Hello, my Cadre family. Hello, hello, hello. Welcome. Come on in. Come on in. Good morning. This is a new day in a new hour that you get to sit with me, your friend and coach, coach Rachel here and get to the root. Come on in. Bring your water. Let's, let's take a sip to this moment. Good morning. It is good to be with you. How has your week been since we last met last Wednesday? Tell me, how has your week been? Yes, I want to know. I want to know, was it high, was it low, was it bumpy, was it smooth like a lazy river?
Or was it like highs and lows, like a roller coaster? Tell me about your week. I'm curious. Was it full of wins? Was it losses? Tell me. Good morning, Rose. Rose612, what's up? Hello. I'm happy to see you. I'm your friend and coach, coach Rachel. Welcome to the channel. I just, I'm curious about your week. I come on every Wednesday at 11am and so we are a family here and we are a community. So I just like to do check ins, you know, like sometimes when my kids get home from school I would say. How was your day?
Smooth sailing. That's awesome. Yeah, yeah. My, my week is busy. It is, it is full, but it's intentionally full. And I'm not mad about it. I'm not mad about it. So. Yes, come on in. I have a really cool topic to talk to you today about. We are talking about savoring the journey to your next milestone. Savoring the journey to your next milestone. Now I have children and they're 13 and, and nine, almost 10. And do you know Dora the explorer? If you do, just flow with me. What's up? Speak wonder. I miss you.
I'm sorry you're having a difficult day. I hope this, this moment with me will bring your day. Yeah, I hope it brightens up today for you. Sending you prayers and praying for you. Yeah. Well, I was thinking about Dora the explorer and we, we try to learn Spanish in our home and so, you know, whatever she, she speaks Spanish and, and so, but I was thinking about her milestone of going to different places, to different places. She has to go through a lot of humps, valleys, mountains, weather. She had to encounter different kind of animals.
It all worked out in her favor. Right. And so I was thinking about us as people, how we are too on this journey and we need to savor the moments. We need to savor this, this journey of us going from point A to point B. And so with Dora the explorer as she's on this journey to discover whatever is to find the treasure or discover something new. Along the way, she hits different milestones and that's how she knows she's on the right track. And so I was just thinking about us and how we have different milestones on our journey.
And I want us to pause and savor the moments that we hit different milestones because it is a journey and it is a blessing. I can even turn this from, to like a spiritual perspective, right? So for the Israelites, I'm a Christian. This is a Christian based channel. The Israelites, they were on a journey to the promised land and they had different milestones that they had to hit, right? They, they encountered, they encountered different giants and floods and dry places and moments of famine and hunger to discover God in a new, in a different way.
And so I want you to think about your journey and if you will, I just want you to take this, this challenge with me to literally write out your, your timeline of how did you get here. Because literally every mountain, every valley, every year, every milestone mattered to get you to this point. So literally. Take a moment, if you will, speak Warner. Take a moment, if you will, rose and literally from the time you were born to the age you're now, literally, and write out and highlight different milestones in your life and savor them.
Savor them, meditate on them, reflect on and reminisce the good ones and the hard ones, the challenging ones and the ones that really bless you, and you can see your growth and development. Savor the milestones. In the Bible, there's a moment when the Israelites were crossing over into the promised land and God told them to put stones, layers, 12 stones, in the river or near the river for them to mark and remember how they came across. And even in this very moment, when life may be hard or life may be like smooth sailing, put a marker somewhere in your home, in your space, in your car, where it can remind you of how you overcome or how you're overcoming, how you are in this difficult space, but you're still winning because you have breath in your lungs, because you have a roof over your head, because you have clothes on your back.
You get to sit here with me on Cadre. That's a win. So I just want to encourage you, family, savor the moment. Put a marker somewhere near you where you can remember the goodness of God or that you're at personal growth and development. Put a marker somewhere. Rather it's a rock. Maybe you get a cross, maybe you get a Necklace. Maybe you get a new ring. Maybe you get a tattoo. I don't know. Maybe you get a new shirt. Maybe you put a picture up. Maybe. Maybe you. You do something different to your room or your space.
So you get a new pillow or a new rug or. Or something to symbolize. You know what? This may be hard, but I'm winning. This may be the most amazing time of my life, and I want to savor this journey. Because you know what's going to happen, you guys? It's going to be another marker somewhere. It's going to be another mountain you climb. It's going to be another valley that you have to walk through or swim through. And when you look back, you can go back and look, listen, I overcame. I made it through.
I'm a new person. I. I think differently. I move differently. I make different decisions. Why? Because you were able to remember and reflect on that milestone. I love that speak when you say you bought yourself a new ring. Yes. You know what? One of my markers, I was. I took a class, and it was a long, intense class, y'. All. And when I got done, I bought me a necklace. It was butterflies. And I bought it because butterflies represent new beginnings. And it was my marker. It was my marker. It was my marker.
And so I want you to savor the journey. Like she said, it's a significant calendar date. So it could be loving, it could be triggering, it could be hard, it can be sweet, it could be bitter. What's up, Dr. D? Nice to see you. Yeah. Whatever it is, don't let this moment pass you by. Whatever it is, don't let it pass you buy. Savor the goodness. Savor the difficulty. Why? Because out of difficulty, birth growth. Out of difficulty, birth something new. If today is a moment of remembrance, reflection, if this very moment is full of happiness, savor it.
Like that. That sweet potato pie that you get on Thanksgiving where you get an extra slice just because it's Thanksgiving. Whatever you do, mark this moment. It's a good moment. It's a good moment. I hear you. I hear you. Speak, wonder, and celebrate him. Remember him. What was his favorite thing, and go do that in honor of him. Recently was my father's birthday, and if you guys been with me, you know that. My father transitioned to heaven in February, and on his day, I intentionally did everything or thought about things that we would normally do on his day, and it was really like he was in the other room.
I made him a cake. We got balloons. We reminisced on all the things he enjoyed. Which was Mountain Dew, and he liked scratch off tickets. And so we was thinking about how he. How I would buy him so many and he would be in his room the whole day scratching off scratch off tickets, and while everyone is in the living room partying and eating cake. And so that day, it was literally like that. And I saw my mom, I said, mom, it's as if he was here, because this is how this will be. He will be in his room, and everybody will be in the living room, in the kitchen, just laughing and eating and all that good stuff.
And that's what it was. So my heart goes to you, Speak, Wonder as you remember your late husband. I pray that you savor these moments in this moment, in those moments you had and rejoice that you had him. Rejoice that he is special, and rejoice that you are well. Thank you for sharing today. Thank you to my Cadre family. Savor the moment. Mark this milestone. Good, bad, ugly, sweet, sad, smooth, or rough, I promise you, you're learning something from this moment. All right, you take care. Peace.
One love. See you next.
