Happy Thursday, Cadre crew. Hello. Hello. I feel like a broken record. I feel like that's how I always greet you, but I can't help it. I can't help it. It is a beautiful sunny day in Seattle. So we are out and about walking. Here's Milo. Milo, say hi. Hello. Just looking for a little place to perch to sit. Because where I was gonna go sit and chat with you is by the train. And the train is actually here right now, which is rare. So it's very, very. Just gonna see if I can find a different perch.

I think I found one. Here we are. Hi, Speak Wonder. Hi, Rach. Oh, man. Boy, oh, boy. Do I have updates for y'. All. And they're positive. These are good updates. Updates that I'm really optimistic about, but was very anxious about and not really ready to share for a little bit. But as some of you may know, in the last month or two, I been struggling a lot with my mental health, specifically depression, my eating disorder. And have been looking into different therapeutic options. Hi, Anna. And getting different feedback from professionals like doing intakes and phone calls with different types of facilities, therapists, etc, and last week I was on or I was at my mom's for the week and worked with her to kind of develop a plan, a Reichi plan for my mind and my heart.

And. And I'm starting to feel really hopeful about. About the future because I have a. I've made a plan. And part of that includes sobriety, which is something that I have thought about for many, many, many years about not drinking alcohol. But it's something that I have avoided completely for a lot of reason. I really didn't want there to be another thing that I had to work on. I felt like I already am sort of identified as someone with an eating disorder, with depression. Now I have to also identify as someone with a substance use problem.

Like, I can't add one more thing. Like that just made me. There was this fear that that would make me more broken. And the other piece of that was I wasn't ready. Like, I just wasn't ready to give up drinking and really thought that I could just having alcohol in my life. And then the other component of that was I was really, really scared about what I would lose by making those changes because so much of my social life includes going out to bars or drinking with friends, and all of my friends drink alcohol.

And I was really scared of what impact that would have on my connections and my relationships and didn't want to lose, didn't want to lose the really important people in my life, and I finally got to a place where I knew.
