Rick Cram: How pain happens in the moment, but so does resilience. Ever since surgery number seven on my left knee in 2019, it's been in a state of trauma. There's something called plan to be your best as you navigate pain. We'll have a conversation that takes a look at the three steps of resilience.
You don't have to be lost at sea in an ocean of mental health. Get anchored with techniques that really help. Hi, I'm Rick Cram. I'm so looking forward to having a conversation about exactly this with Nikki for a few reasons. We'll be live this Tuesday evening at 6, 5 Central, and it's always wonderful to talk with Nikki because she has a wonderful way of creating positive and encouraging conversations on on topics such as this. It's also going to give me a chance to share with you some very practical, proven techniques that I actually need to use.
Like moments like this. Ever since surgery number seven. Oh, I'm going to keep this in here because this gives me a chance to say how pain happens in the moment, but so does resilience. Ever since surgery number seven on my left knee in 2019, it's been in a state of trauma. As you can see, this is my daily experience. Dozens of times a day, I get blasts of pain. But there's something called plan to be your best as you navigate pain. And it's something that I'll share with you some of the steps, such as the three steps of resilience, which I'm practicing right now to stay focused on you.
And it's something that's been part of my dealing not only with the physical pain, but the mental journey and the emotional journey of dealing with this pain. So we will have a conversation that takes a look at these different techniques, the three steps of resilience. I'll share with you what's working. I'll share with you what isn't working. It's also going to give me a chance to remind you that your best is greater than the pain.
