We feel hungry because we need to eat in order to live. We feel thirst when we haven't had enough water. We feel horniness because our species needs to procreate in order to survive. Loneliness is our body's drive telling us that we need to seek out human connection to survive. 9% of the span of human existence we needed those tribes people around us to watch our backs for saber toothed tigers to keep us alive.
