Positive Quote to Help with Reframing

JPJay Patruno

COMMENT BELOW, I want to know. It can be hard to find a positive focus when things are generally challenging. As an overthinker, anxious person, and pessimist, looking forward can be daunting. However, being present is also challenging. This quote I heard today felt worth sharing, and I’m curious how you could apply it in your life.

  1. 0:01Cadre: If you can look towards the positive, you can find light

A Walt Whitman quote says if you can look towards the positive, you can find the light. The darkness will become part of your past. By implementing that more positive mindset, hopefully you're able to find more moments of joy.

Hello, Cadre. I received an email today with a little quote at the bottom that I loved, and I just really wanted to share with you. It was a Walt Whitman quote, and it went something along the lines of, always turn your face towards the sunshine, and it will move the shadows behind you. And whether that's verbatim or not, the sentiment basically is if you can look towards the positive, you can find the light. The darkness will become part of your past. It will be behind you. And I'm definitely a pessimist at baseline, and it was just really nice to see that it was something that ended up making me sort of just go down this, like, thought path of, like, positive things and recent events and behaviors and things that I could try to reframe.

So I want to hear from you comment below on a way that you could implement that type of mindset in either something that happened recently or something that happened in the past. And by implementing that more positive mindset, hopefully you're able to find more moments of joy.
