Key characteristics may be persistent low mood, so you may feel depressed most of the day or for more days than not over an extended a period of time, often up to two years. Functional appearance.

You can hold down a job, maintain relationships, and even engage in activities, yet you're often masking your true feelings. Some of the symptoms that you may experience might include fatigue, low self esteem, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, having a difficult time concentrating feelings of hopelessness.
