Good evening, Cadre Sphere. This is Anila here leading with love this Wednesday evening wellness Wednesday in the Cadre sphere. And I thought I'd try something new. I usually come on here in the afternoon around 230. And what I was noticing in my own life was that, hey, Jules. Good. Hey, our stigma. Hey, Colleen. Happy Wednesday night. Um, well, it's night for me. m. here. I don't know. Tell me what time it is for you, because I know some of you are on the east coast, some of you on the west coast, some of you are in the middle.
Hi, Anna. Good evening. Good evening. Hello. Hello. So I wanted to flip the script. Hi, Shannon. I wanted to flip the script. A lot of us come on in the daytime for Cadre. m. in St. Paul. m. in Minneapolis, too, where I am on the other side of the river. Um, and what I was noticing over the last couple of weeks is I have a really bad habit. And that habit is going on my phone before bed and looking at the news and then scrolling instagram and searching for hashtags I have no business searching for.
And then after another hour has gone by, going to YouTube and searching for search terms I should not be searching for, and then lying awake for hours. So what we call the doom scroll. And so I wanted to flip the script, and I wanted to start, instead of meeting, to talk about leading with love in the afternoon on wellness Wednesdays, I want to start coming on Cadre at night to hope scroll is what we call it in our community. And I found that the nights that I switch that I remember not to go to all those other sites I just mentioned, all those other apps, but I go to Cadre instead and just scroll through all the love that's there.
I get to sleep faster, and I sleep better. And I thought maybe it would be cool if, before I go to sleep, come on here on Wednesdays and talk about leading with love. And that's how I'm planning to lead with love from now on, is to build that awareness of. Yeah, I mean, the day has, ugh. The day has, like, been so just erratic, sporadic, nuts. My to do list, like, non stop. I got pretty much everything done. Ooh, king cross Cadre live off the list, but still got two things that need to be done, and it's just been a crazy day.
And you know how it is. Like, after a crazy day, you just want to like. And click, click, click, and zone out. Right. But what we feed our brain, what we feed our mind when we zone out really impacts our emotional state and our ability to get good sleep. And that's why I want to switch from doom scrolling to hope scrolling. And that's why I want to come on here Wednesday evenings to kind of help y'all say, oh, boom. m. m. m. depending on where you are. And, yeah, I'm gonna pull in. I'm gonna switch.
Switch over to this radio station, right kind of thing, and choose love and choose, choose to just listen to something that and interact, hopefully, with. With a conversation that is about doing right by ourselves and doing right by each other rather than all the crazy mess that we can be engaging with right now that's riling us up before we're meant to take rest. So, yeah, I'm excited to start leading with love into the night with you. To paraphrase one of my kids favorite PJ masks into the night to save the day is what we're gonna do from now on.
And I hope that even without a notification saying someone from Cadre is going live at night, you will remember this, and you will remember and start training your brain to say, hey, I'm gonna go to Cadre and read through or watch old videos and fill my heart and mind with love, with. With compassion, with good strategies, with affirmations. And there's so much content on here of, like, you know, leadership skills and calming skills and all this stuff that we can access instead of this stuff that, you know, we're seeking out partly to entertain, partly to unwind, partly to just, like, check out of life for a little bit.
But really, it's just making it worse. It's just riling us up and it's pulling us, sucking us into all that's wrong with the world. Um, and, yeah, so come hang with me at night from now on to. And let's talk about love. Oh, it says here, love. I don't know what it says. It says, love all you are, so love all you are and lead with love and fuel up with love before you go to sleep so that tomorrow, that's what you're leading with. It was good to see you by hashtags and names and symbols and to say hello to you all.
And I'll see you next week at night. I'm wishing you love, strength and awareness. Sweet dreams. Good night. Bye.
