  1. 0:00Barbara writes a weekly devotional to help you start your week

Barbara: Happy Monday. I am here to read a weekly devotional, help you get started on a good positive note for the week ahead from my always faithful prayer. Last time I tried coming on here, it crashed. So let's see how this goes.

  2. 0:28Today we're talking about all things are possible. We get in a lot of situations in life

We're gonna talk today about all things are possible. No matter the obstacles, I will see things through, regardless of any barriers. Nothing will ever be beyond his ability to shift, move, and make things new. He's God. He will make a way.

  3. 2:32The scripture that goes with this theme that anything is possible, all things are possible

The scripture that I want to share with you today comes from Matthew, 1926. It reads, with man, this is impossible. But with God, all things are possible. A lot of things that we go through in life seem impossible. We shouldn't stop relying on God.

  4. 3:19Is there anything in your life right now that seems impossible

Is there anything in your life right now that seems impossible? And then think about what's actually in your control and what is not. Everything outside of that is not worth your energy, your time, your worry. God will see it through and he will make a way.

Oh, I hope this works this time. Last time I tried coming on here, it crashed and I couldn't get back in. So let's see how this goes. It is Monday. Happy Monday, and I'm glad to be back. I am Barbara, for those of you who I haven't yet met, and I am here to read a weekly devotional, help you get started on a good positive note for the week ahead from my always faithful prayer. Devotional. Looks like that. And so we're gonna talk today about all things are possible. We get in a lot of situations in life where we just feel like maybe there are no options, there are no possibilities of things changing or going away that we hope they will or want them to, or feel like we need them to.

But as believers, this is one thing that we can be sure of, is that all things are possible. Anything's possible. So I'm going to read this to you, and the first part of what I read is from what I would imagine, the voice of God speaking to us, followed by my own thoughts on it. And then I'll share a key scripture for you to kind of take away from this theme. So all things are possible. Here we go. It was by design that you were made with limitations. How could you possibly have a need for me otherwise?

But I am God, the creator of all life, and there is nothing that is impossible for me. When your mind works to convince you that there is no way around this or that, remember me. Hold on to my strength and mighty power. I will make a way to accomplish my desires. No matter the obstacles, I will see things through, regardless of any barriers. Nothing can stop me. I am God. I've had situations in the past where I just couldn't see how things could be fixed or figured out. But I also knew that I served a mighty God.

And I knew that if he wanted it resolved, and still today, if he wants something resolved, he's gonna resolve it. He will make a way. And it's in these times that we have to rely on our faith and trust that our God, who always accomplishes his will for our lives, will see us through. Nothing will ever be beyond his ability to shift, move, and make things new. He's God. The scripture that I want to share with you today that goes with this theme that anything is possible, all things are possible comes from Matthew, 1926, and it reads, jesus looked at them and said, with man, this is impossible.

But with God, all things are possible. So, again, I know that, you know, a lot of things that we go through in life seem impossible. Because we can't physically see how they will work out or how they'll get resolved. But we're limited. We don't have that capacity to think and see, and we shouldn't, because then we stop again, like I read earlier, we stop relying on God. You know what? Turn that off. I'm sorry, I forgot to turn my heater off. Okay, I have a couple of questions for you to think about.

Maybe you can journal about them if that's something that you do. But the question is, is there anything in your life right now that seems impossible? And then think about what's actually in your control and what is not. Separate those two and just accept and understand that you can only do what you can do. There's only so much that is in your control. Everything outside of that is not worth your energy, your time, your worry, your stress, your fear, any of those things, because they belong to God fully and completely.

And he, if it's in his will, he will see it through and he will make a way. You don't have to know the how. Hey, guys. Good morning. Glad to see you here. And that is it. So thanks for being here, and I will see you again next time.
