  1. 0:00Barb says you are enough. Feeling unworthy or unqualified can come in many forms

Barb: Today's devotional is called you are enough. She says many of us have to be reminded of this often. She asks you to consider your own self confidence and self worth. Barb hopes you have an amazing, blessed week.

Morning, Cadre. It is Monday. My name is Barb. Stabilize it here. I'm excited to be here with you. I'm going to be reading a devotional from the always faithful devotional. And I love the topic today. I think you will, too, because it is called you are enough. This is something that I think that just so many of us have to be reminded of. So, again, if you were here last week, I shared that the way this devotional is formatted is into a few parts. The first part is what I imagine God would say to us on this topic, and then my own kind of commentary on it.

And then I give you a key scripture that just kind of anchors this topic. So, again, you are enough. I'm going to start reading it to you now. When I created you, I took into account every minute detail. There is no need to add or subtract from the work of my hand. You are perfect as you are when you come against thoughts of unworthiness or insufficiency. Remember who and whose you are. You were made with masterful intention, and you are enough in every way. Hey, guys. Good morning. The next part is my own commentary to you about this topic.

Feeling unworthy or unqualified can come in many forms. As we all know. We may feel inferior to others in work or school situations, unqualified to take on certain tasks, or ill equipped to engage in relationships, to name a few. But God reminds us that he created us in his image and that he makes no mistakes. None. It's time to grab hold of any false beliefs and replace them with the truth. You are good enough, smart enough, wise enough, talented enough, beautiful enough, strong enough. You are enough.

And here's the scripture that I want to tie all of this to. It comes from Ephesians 210. It says, for we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. And I don't know about you guys, again. I just. I need this reminder so often. And there's a couple of questions that I included at the bottom, either just for your own reflection or maybe to journal about. And here they are. Where are you with your own self confidence and self worth?

And what areas do you need to do a better job of honoring? Because I know that for me, it can be tough to not compare, to not look at others, to not downplay our own gifts and talents and strengths and uniqueness. We are all so unique with so many special gifts. I mean, just, you know, the few of you that are on here right now, I can instantly think of how you're unique and special and such a gift to the world in so many different ways. And so I just wanted to leave you with this reminder. And I also thought, oh, this ties perfectly to one of my affirmation cards.

I know everything's backward for you, but it says, I am enough. I was created exactly as I am, and that is enough. I proudly claim my value and my worth, and I walk with confidence and assurance. And these are things that some. These are thoughts that some of us may not believe right away, but they're true regardless. And so I just want to remind you and remind you and remind you that you are enough. I am enough. And we have everything that we need to do what we were created to do. And that's it.

That is your Monday devotional. Again, the key scripture is from Ephesians 210. If you want to go and read a little more on that or just have that to hold on to throughout your week, I hope you guys have an amazing, blessed week and I will be with you here again next time. Take care. Bye.
