Good morning. How is everybody? I'm going to see if anyone jumps in before I center myself on the screen here with a little surprise. Anybody joining me this morning, as always, talking about big dreams, because it's Friday, and that's what we do on Fridays. And if I look a little tired, you're about to find out why. Cause I am going to reveal, for the first time on the interwebs, my new puppy. And not even my instagram is going to see this puppy yet until after October 2. Cause I'm doing a big reveal.

But the perks of being on Cadre are that you get to meet the puppy and you get to be let in on all of my secrets in life. Right? So without further ado, I give you this dog, this puppy, this boy. He's so sweet. Are you waving? Did you wave? Yeah. You waving? This boy, this boy, you guys, this dog, he's so sweet. He's very busy. Very busy. Just like his mommy. And I wanted to talk to you today about time management while you're making your big dreams come true, because it was a big dream of mine to get another dog.

And it's interesting how, you know, we have this vision of what things are gonna be like, and the reality is sometimes it's a total junk show. And you're like, what was I thinking? And the process of making those big dreams come true can be incredibly uncomfortable. My other dog is this Dempsey. That's his name. This Dempsey, and my other dog, welly, you guys have seen him on the screen before, is so misplaced and so upset, and it's always been the Welly and mommy show. And now this angel dog has entered the chat, and it is so tough for my five year old.

And I realized that this big dream of mine for the last couple of years, to get a second dog for my dog. People are like, you're not getting a dog for your dog. You're getting it for you. Because your dog is very happy with their one on one mommy time, and it doesn't always go as you plan. But then I was thinking about equating that to your big dreams and how you sort of just have to. Just making sure he doesn't take a flying leap off the couch. No, you're not going to do it. Are you a good boy?

He's just laying down like a good boy. These big dreams that you have in your mind, they can be really uncomfortable when you're trying to accomplish them, and they can really, like, displace you, and they can displace people around you, like your dog or your family. When you go out of balance and you decide to bring some crazy new adjustment into your life, your big dream that you thought was going to be so easy might in fact be incredibly difficult. But as the former coach of the Phoenix Suns, Monty Williams would say, or I should say current coach, not former.

I'm thinking of the Cardinals. Sorry. As Monte Williams would say, everything is on the other side of hard. And I had to really readjust my expectations of what the first night home was going to look like. You know, I thought that we were going to be this, this like big, happy family. Welly was going to be so excited to have a small dog in the house. Marissa's on here. He loves her eight pound toy poodle and always did really well with her. And when we would leave them, they would do great. But man, it was struggle bus city when I tried to leave the two dogs together and Welly was not having it.

And I realized, like, wow, this big dream that I thought was gonna be so magical and wonderful is gonna be difficult and it's gonna be an adjustment. But on the other side of that, I'm gonna have two amazing dogs that I love so much. This boy dish, little fluffernutter. And I realized last night that I needed help. And sometimes in business and in life, we have to ask for help. And it's really, really hard if we're independent and used to doing things completely on our own, which I am. But I called in for reinforcements.

I got my dog sitter. She took Welly for the night so I could really see how Dempsey was going to adjust for the night and in a crate, and I had to leave the house. You guys, why did I have to leave the house last night for an 815 dinner, you ask? Because my mentor was in town and I got a text yesterday afternoon that said, can you join me for dinner? I'm in Phoenix. And I thought to myself, the last thing I want to do is leave my baby on night two in a crate for 4 hours. Cause I knew it was gonna be a drive there and a drive back and then a long dinner.

But when somebody important in your life that you have been manifesting a friendship with for a long time says, can you have dinner? And they are taking their valuable time, you go to dinner and you figure it out. So I figured it out. And I think a lot of making your big dreams come true is simply figuring it out. And he was okay in the crate. He somehow, like, Houdini'd his pee pad into his crate that was not in his crate to begin with. I don't know how that happened, but I got home, and it was stuck inside the crate.

Little stinkaroonie. Stinky stinkaroonie. But I got to have the most intimate, epic dinner with somebody who was incredibly important to me that I always hoped I would build a friendship with. And I realized that it's a lot of problem solving in this life, making your big dreams come true. It's just a lot of problem solving. How willing are you to problem solve? How willing are you to make it happen for yourself and find a way? And funny enough, my screensaver on my phone is from that same very mentor, and it was a comment that he left me on Instagram that said, you always find a way.

Risa. I screenshotted that and was like, man, if this isn't the mantra of my life, and it lives on my phone, and I look at it every day, and I'm reminded that I do always find a way. And so I encourage you guys to find a way. Find your way. Don't halt your big dreams, because it's gonna be hard. Because the amount of people that said to me, it's gonna be hard. A puppy's gonna be hard. It's gonna be hard. I did not waiver on what I wanted in this life, which is, I'm only 98 dogs away from my gold dog count.

Okay? I only want 100 dogs on a farm. That's just my goal. I'm 98 dogs away. But I'm not gonna take anybody else's fear of making a difficult decision or inability to make their dreams happen and find their way. Find a way. I'm not taking any of that and infusing it into my soul. No chance. I will figure it out. And I might not have any sleep, and I might be exhausted, and this little butterball might have me running around like a crazy person, but I wouldn't have it any other way. So if you want your big dreams to happen, don't listen to the outside noise.

I talk about that a lot. Cut it, junk food junkie. Risa, this is so ironic that what you're talking about ties right into my quote of the week. I'm on your wavelength, junk food junkie. I am on your wavelength, and I'm just going to show you guys what's happening here. That is what's happening. The sweetest little buddy who's about to get a little nervous at the vet in a few minutes, but I'd love to know what your quote is junk food junkie. If you put it up in the community feed and I missed it, call me out.

Let me know where it is or what the quote is or if you want to type it here. I would love to hear it. I always think that you're hearing just what you need to hear sometimes at the right time, you know? But the last thing I wanted to do was get home at, like, 1115 last night, working on no sleep and know that I have to, like, run my puppy into the ground before we go to bed. But you know what? I can sleep later in life or when I'm not in this life, I'll figure it out, and I will find a way. And you will, too, whatever that means for you.

So I hope that this inspires you to go after it, no matter what it is. Do the hard thing. Because on the other side of it is something so beautiful, and it's a little butterball of fluff. You don't always need a plan. Sometimes you just need to breathe, trust, and let go and see what happens. Ooh, that hits. Ooh, that. That makes the hair stand up. It's so true. I have zero plan for this dog. All I knew is that it felt like the right time. It felt like he needed to come into my life. And I'm so glad he did.

And I wouldn't have it any other way. And look at him. I don't have a plan for you, sweet Dempsey. I have no idea what's next and if your brother will actually like you. But all I know is you're amazing, and it'll all work out. So if you think you have too many kids, if you think your marriage is hard, if you're not sure about the business you just started or the job you just started, if you're not sure if you should put that race on your calendar because it feels really hard, if you're not sure if you should save the money because you really need it now and don't even know what's gonna happen in the future, whatever the hard thing is right now that you have no idea what the plan is gonna be about, just do it.

Like Phil Knight said, just do it. Best company slogan ever. And remember what lives on my screensaver every day. You always find a way, Risa. And you, too, will always find a way. I love you guys. Thanks for being here. Have the best weekend. Stay tuned for more difficult puppy updates and transitional 2nd, 1st dog updates. And I hope that you go out and just crush it this weekend. I'll see you guys next week.
