Today's thought of the day is, it's time to be more bold. Up to 80% of people in the world really don't have boldness. Study: Most people just rather kind of stay quiet, stay hidden, stay small. It's important that we learn to be bold in all areas.

Good morning, Cadre. It's raining again. I'm so annoyed. I just. Anyway, hope everybody's doing great. It is Thursday. I'm normally with you on Wednesdays and an hour earlier, so today is my toastmasters day. Just got finished with that a little bit ago, and now here I am with you. So, today, I want to talk to you about a message that I heard on a podcast. And this is how I always know when a message is really meant for me and for me to share also, is I hear it, it touches me, and then I start seeing it everywhere.

And so that's what happened with this. So, today's thought of the day is, it's time to be more bold. And I know that we're all born with different nature or demeanors. Me, personally, in my circle, at least, I've always been known to be more of the bold person. And sometimes I can have a negative connotation. Back in the day, I used to have an attitude, and I used to really speak more out of emotion. I would rarely take time to think or process things before I spoke out, but I've always been quick to react, and I'm still kind of that way today.

In the sense, if I am to witness something that is not right that I don't feel okay with, I will speak out and I will advocate for myself and, of course, for my children and others. But then there's also times where I've been kind of more timid and not really spoken up when I felt on the inside like I wanted to. And so this whole topic, the way that I'm gonna approach it, is going after what you really want in life by being a little more bold, because it can mean so many different things. Right.

In my circle, again, there are a lot of people who, instead of speaking up or speaking out, will choose to stay silent on an issue. And that always is a little bit frustrating, because I think it's so important to just say the hard things and do the hard things in order to come to a resolution. Right. Or to just resolve certain things. So, back to what I was saying about being bold to get what we want in life. There have been many studies done that show that 80. Up to 80% of people in the world really don't have boldness.

And because they don't have this boldness, they live average lives. I'll say we. So, I'm not pointing fingers that most people just rather kind of stay quiet, stay hidden, stay small, but they miss out on a beautiful, fulfilling, impactful life. A lot of people stay in jobs that they strongly dislike. A lot of people stay in relationships that are just comfortable. We put up and deal with a lot of averageness. I don't even know if that's a word, but because we hesitate to go after what we really want, and that's so sad to me.

So this is just a reminder to all of us to really look at our life, evaluate where we could probably be a little more bold to get what we want and what we deserve and what is already out there for us. And I think about how some people are actually bold in one part of their life but not the other. So you may be somebody who's pretty bold at work. You show up confidently, you have no problem addressing issues or speaking up at meetings or whatnot. But then it may be, in your relationship, you're not so bold.

So you kind of stay quiet on certain things. You just kind of let things go, or the opposite. You can flip that around. And it's important that we learn, all of us, those who were born more bold and those who were not, to be bold in all areas. And it's not easy, but the only way to get there is to start. So look at your life and look at areas where you can probably be a little more bold. And then practice. You have to practice. And whatever that looks like for you. And sometimes even just saying no can be a bold act.

It's what's bold for each of us. We're all different, right? Hey, Chris. Hey, Luke. Hey, Carrie. Good to see you guys here. So it was a good reminder for me to just think about, even though I feel like I'm normally more on the bold side, and it's not associated with aggressiveness or loudness or being mean or anything like that. Bold is just having the courage to make your voice heard, make your presence be known or felt, and doing, like, whatever is required to get what you want and what you deserve and what is out there for you to enjoy and have in this life and then to share with others.

And we're always setting examples when we can do those harder things. So I think it's a great reminder for me and you and everybody out there, and we're a very small group, because, again, studies have already shown that 80% of people, they will stay average. They will live average lives. And I do not want that for me or you or any of us. So I hope that helps. Hey, Janet. So good to see you guys here. And I will see you again next week. All right. Enjoy your day, and I will see you then. Bye, guys.
