A brief goodbye and see-you-tomorrow sign-off.
Hey cadre, happy. Wednesday, happy Wednesday morning. It is cadre today. My name is JC. If you've never shared time and space together before, thank you for the opportunity to spend some time with you right now. I'm sitting in. Gas station parking lot and I think Faribault, MN. I'm on my way down South for work this morning. But the beautiful thing is no matter where we are, no matter what's going on, we can always take a moment to say, here's where I am. This is what I got. And how do I put that to use?
That's what cadre offers you, a perspective that's different than yours because it's coming from a life that's being lived different than yours. So that perspective or that idea, that pathway, maybe something makes you go, yeah, that is worth trying. Or, you know what, I'm going to do the absolute opposite of that because that's what makes sense to me. Cadre, a special group of people with a special intention showing the world that there's many ways to be well. This morning I had to be out the door at about 4:50 and I got up too early because that's often how it goes in my world.
I stress out and I get up too early. And so when I'm standing in the kitchen and I had extra time, so I looked at the kitchen sink and I was like, I'm going to put the dishes in the dishwasher. It feels really good to do the things that need to be done, but at the end of the day aren't going to change the world. Because it reminds you that doing little things often has great power. Everything that's ever been done has been a collection of little things that have been done often. And that's my invitation for you today, T North, and everybody out there in the Cadre Sphere.
No matter where you are, if you have time, what can you do in that moment? Maybe it's a person to person thing. Smile, do the good deed, hold the door, say, how are you doing? It may be an interpersonal thing, like an inner one person, inner you thing. And say, I'm going to give myself a break. I'm going to write down that thought that I want to make sure I don't lose. Or maybe a tactical and practical thing like putting the dishes in the dishwasher. Do the little thing and see how it changes your day.
Have a good one. See you tomorrow.
