Hey there. Good morning, cadre. How are we doing on this Wednesday? I hope you're doing great. I have one scraggly hair. I guess 2 scraggly hairs that are poking me on my forehead. But other than that, I'm doing pretty good at 5:45 AM on this Wednesday. I hope you're doing great. Whether you're watching now an early start to your day or whether you're watching later, later in the morning, later in the day, some other time when you go and I just need a little bit of cadre right now. So you tune in and find something, some perspective, some momentary strategic positive distraction.
Cadre is always here and we always hope that you're doing great. But if you're not, will also be that squeaky reminder saying, you know what, even if you're not doing great, you're still incredibly capable, incredibly worthy, and you're probably still going to do something pretty miraculous today in someone's life, whether it be yours or someone else's. I'm glad I'm here. I'm glad you're here. I know the things I know and I care about you. So when you're on the go, that's my life right now. I've been, I was thinking last night when I was heading home, that it's been a fun little week.
30, jumped right into some meetings, had a day in Minnesota yesterday, Tuesday, was in Hudson, Wisconsin last night, drove back home, and now it's nice and early on Wednesday and I'm flying to Houston, Texas. So this week I'll be in Sydney, California, where my connecting plate was, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Texas. And then I'm back again tomorrow, back home. When you're on the go, it's really important that you exist where you are. There's a passage in, where is it? I think it's in the Old Testament.
Ecclesiastes, I think. Oh, the diner's opening up. There's a passage that says, Where the tree falls, that's where it lies. Where the tree falls, that's where it lies. And I love that passage because it's true. When the tree falls down, that's where it is. It's not somewhere else. It's not changing its mindset and all of a sudden it's on a beach next to some palm trees or in the middle of the forest next to some tall redwoods. But if a tree falls down, that's where it is. I think it's a good reminder for all of us that wherever we are is the best place to be.
Not because that's where we're always going to be, because our opportunity is to be where we are and to have that be a moment that we can be safe in, be brave in, be nourished in. So I'm looking at this week and I could go, oh my gosh, I have to be here, then I have to be here, then I have to be here, as opposed to rather than going, I need to be here, I need to be here, going, I am here, I am here, I am here. And that's my invitation for you today, is to be where you are, because you don't have a choice, but also because there's an opportunity for you to be here now.
I think that's Baron Baptiste, the yoga guy. He would say, now here or nowhere. It's the same 7 letters, right? N-O-W-H-E-R-E. Now here or nowhere. It depends on where you put the space and where your mind works. So where you are. So be where you are today. That's how you can do the things when you got a lot going on. See you back in Minnesota tomorrow. Bye.
