  1. 0:01Opening and run update

Alex opens with a casual greeting, mentions finishing a 40-minute run, and explains he's training for an upcoming half marathon. This orients the viewer to the context and energy of the video.

  2. 0:29Listening to Bruce Lee material

Alex explains he listened to Bruce Lee's journaling compiled into a book, narrated by Shannon Lee, and notes her limited firsthand experience with her father. This sets up the source of the insights he shares.

  3. 1:41Participate and co-create

Alex summarizes key teachings—be adaptable, glean wisdom without copying, build your own identity, and know when to surrender. He highlights the phrase 'participate and co-create' and explains how it means engaging actively while also listening to signs to continue or stop projects.

  4. 3:38Reflection and signoff

Alex reflects that he's still learning to be a creator and co-creator with the universe, notes the time and his aim to post short daily updates, and signs off with well wishes. This wraps up the video and tells viewers what to expect next.

What is going on, Cadre Sphere? It's your boy Alex Mirror from Mindsip. Just finished and got back from a 40 minute run. Again, training for the half marathon that I got coming up for Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, October 11th on the Sunday. So this is week 10 of my training and I got seven more weeks left until the big day. So feels good. I'm trying to bring the dog with me on the runs as much as possible. And then I use his think time. And speaking of think time, starting, so I was listening to Bruce Lee's audiobook where he talks about, he has someone else narrate on his, on his behalf from his journaling, his, like diaries, his meditations, his training.

He kept training logs, he kept like thinking logs, right, from journaling. from his journal entries and then that was compiled into his book, which was super cool. But on this run, I started listening to Shannon Lee, his daughter, which was super cool. So he died, he died at age 32 and she was only four years old. So she really didn't get to get the full glimpse and the full picture of what her dad had accomplished and how he was. But what she did get to experience as his daughter was his presence, his love, his engagement, his, like how he like taught her be like water and to, be pliable, be adaptive, be one with life.

And when things are not going your way, like learn to kind of surrender to the universe when things just aren't flowing like they should. Because at the end of the day, they should flow. And he also taught her that I don't want you to necessarily be like me. I want you to glean wisdom from me, but ultimately you're building yourself, you're building yourself up, you're building your identity, your autonomy, and everyone's trying to build themselves and fulfill their potential in their own way. So it's very, very interesting read, highly recommended.

It's called Be like water, my friend by Shannon Lee, Bruce Lee's daughter. And one thing that she just said that really resonated with me just a couple minutes ago when I got back from this run was participate and co-create. So participate in, be active, being like engage with what you're doing, projects, your career, your business, your lifestyle. but also co-create with the universe because the universe will send us signs when things are meant to go the way that we're going, that we're working towards.

And then other times the universe will also tell you not to resist and to surrender to the universe. So in either scenario, you're still co-creating with the universe, but you're not fighting against the universe when things are just not working. listening to the universe when things aren't working and stopping projects, even if they haven't come to fruition or they haven't come to completion, because sometimes they're just not going to work for you personally. So that was a really good first listen of chapter one.

Super, super interesting. And I just want to share that and just say that at the end of the day, we are the creators of our life and the book of our life. And I'm still learning how to be more of the creator and the participant and co-create with the universe rather than go against it. So hope you guys all find this helpful. m. Again, I'm trying to do this live daily, but very short, succinct to share all my thoughts, my ideas. philosophies on certain things and again it all stems from exercise and then branches out from there.

So maybe happy, maybe healthy, maybe at peace. Peace Cadre Severe.
