Hi everyone, Jen Varale joining you from the lovely Superior Sauna space today for Sober Not Somber hour. And yeah, I have an event today at 4 o'clock and I'm serving NA mocktails, cocktails, whatever you have it, however people call that. And I have a full menu that we're serving for an event that probably, I don't know, 40 some people. So anyway, just wanted to not miss this time to talk with you a little bit about what's going on in August and the Cadre Sphere. We are talking all about transitions and My thoughts on this, and I'd love to hear it if you're chiming in, seasonally we're coming up on fall.

And what I wanted to prompt everyone with today was the idea that transitions happen seasonally, but they can also happen just at different points in your life where you're making a bigger change than you, know, from your day-to-day life. And how we prepare for those changes it's just really important to think about and get ahead of, especially for larger transitions in our lives. So this got me thinking all about a particular transition that I need to put some time and energy into thinking about.

I'm actually going to be in a different country for an entire month coming up. And to be honest, I have not, oh, hi, Luke, you're the best. You are the best. To be honest, I haven't really thought about this transition and what it's going to be like to travel live in a different country for a good month. I know I have faith that everything's going to work out. I've done enough planning, but I also am thinking about how do I make this transition to like a new place to work, because I'm not taking the month off.

So I have to work. How am I going to navigate not knowing a language, although they speak English there? And what can I do to sort of set myself up now for a really good transition? So like just to be in some new spaces and set myself up like now for some really great things that will support me in that transition. So Maybe you've went through some transitions recently and you have some advice or some things that have helped you. I'd love to hear it. Drop them in the chat. I personally am really thinking about paying for everything up front.

So one of the stresses of a potential transition is maybe finances are unknown, especially for all the travel that I'm going to be doing. So one of the things I've done to prepare for this transition is pay for as much as I can up front and have everything set aside so that I have a smooth transition and a trip. I am using it for business in the business of the sauna space. So I'm also thinking about what's going to set me up for a really productive trip. And one of the things I've been doing is connecting with people on LinkedIn that are in the places in Norway that I'm going to be at.

And it's been incredible. I think it's actually going to feel like a really great transition because mostly because of the outreach and the things that I've done to connect with people while I'm there. So I'll be doing the International Sauna Congress at the end of the month. I will also be doing this incredible sauna tour. And I'm just like, I think I feel pretty well set up for what I am expecting will be a pretty big transition. I'm also worried and concerned about my family and if they need me and how I'm going to deal with being so far away from them.

My kids are older, 23 and 21. I'm sure they'll be fine. I'm also in a relationship, fairly new. So preparing for different parts of that transition, I feel like it's something I can do now about 3 weeks out from it. So I would just prompt you, what do you have going on this fall? What are you looking to transition into? And how might doing something right now really set you up for a great transition? Because we know transitions can be. scary. They can have a lot of change and a lot of uncertainty.

So I invite you to think about that this fall and not maybe be in the dread of what some of these transitions might look like for you, but to be in the preparedness, the readiness phase so that being in the transition can feel good for you. That's what I got today. And then I got to hop over and serve the lovely guests all the NA. So thanks for tuning in today. I don't have any beverages to cheers right now with you, but I will tell you I am serving up some really great stuff, including even, which is a cadre connector and a bev that we serve all the time.

And then I've got a couple others that Tennyson and then this Americano Undone, which is an Italian aperitif. So I love that events are more so just being like, we don't even have alcohol here. It's 4 o'clock on a Tuesday. Let's have Jen come in and serve some great ede. Anyway, that's what I got for y'all today. Happy August 11th and ciao ciao.
