Hello. Hi, Cadre. Happy Friday. Happy end of the week. Or maybe it's the beginning of the weekend for you, or maybe you're just starting to go to work here for the night shift. Everybody has gone a different timeline. So want to honor wherever you're at, but wherever you're at, I hope you are hopefully enjoying yourself. And if not, then let's, let's see what we can, what we can do and try to, try to brainstorm up some, some ways to get that 1% a little bit better. I know that that's been on my mind a lot.

Hey, Rachel. Especially, you know, January is that month of renewal and intentions and resolutions. And I know at Cadre, it's been really fun. Hi, Mel. It's been really fun to see everyone talk about their renewals and different ways of starting, starting again. And I want to dive into that because I want to see how people are doing. It's the end of. And the spring as my new year. It just seems more energetically fitting for me. So if you have anything that you've been like, yes, this month I've totally renewed my outlook on xyz, Would love to hear it.

But today we're going to talk about. Hi, Joshua, Welcome. Starting over and beginning again. Because, yes, this is the end of the month, we're wrapping it up. But in my life experience. Hey, Davis, Nice to meet you. Welcome to, to the Wellness podcast on Friday with. With Brie. Obtaining alignment. Wanted to share that a lot of my life experience is learning to start over. I've had to start over so many times. I've been at the bottom so many times. And I've had to rebuild my life a lot from drugs, the legal system, school, like, dropping out and then starting over again.

Relationships, I mean, you name it. I have quite a bit of expertise in beginning again. And in fact, my job is I work on renewals. So it's very interesting how, how, how much poetry is interweaved throughout my daily life. But it's true. You can always start again. And I would argue that every single day is a chance to start again. What I mean by that is can we let go of the past and begin anew from a place of clarity, openness, and, like, trust that, like, okay, today I'm gonna tackle this, and I believe in myself to do it.

And I'm stronger than I was yesterday because guess what? Even if we fail, we're learning. So every time we start over, I would argue that we're not even really starting over. We are starting from A newer perspective, a perspective from wisdom and this place of learning and built up strength through our trials, our triumphs and tribulations. So that is a recurring theme in my life, is like, you can always begin again. One of my meditation teachers that his whole slogan is beginning again. Just begin again.

Every minute you're not focused, take a deep breath, begin again. Now you're meditating. Now you're back in the moment. Now you're realigned. It's. It can be that simple. But our brains don't love simple. They want to complicate everything, make it like, oh, my gosh, over analyze things like that. So just remember, we can always start over. It's going to be February soon. We can start over. We can strategically realign our goals. Maybe we learned something in January where it's like, you know what?

Actually this isn't feasible or like I thought it would be and I need to pivot a little bit. So beginning again with wisdom, begin again with what? You know, we are humans. We are cyclic. So starting a cycle over from previous failures or previous situations that have helped us grow is huge. So it's never this, like, fresh new start. It's this renewed, more aligned start. Because I would argue as we age, we become more and more in alignment with who we really are. I mean, if we're working on it, right.

But Rachel says yes, no matter the setback, we never lose the progress we've made or insight gained from the past. Experience. Experience. Even though it feels like the opposite. Exactly. Nailed it. And it's true that progress is like, every time we start over, we're coming in with more progress. You know, we're putting the pedal to the metal in a better way because we now have gained way more insight and I would argue expanded our perspective with. With the findings that happened from whatever situation it is.

But so that's. That's number one, is we can always start again. Beginning again at any time. Every morning, we begin again every minute. We can become more conscious and begin again. Every time we notice a sign sensation in our body wanting to close down. We can breathe and we can begin again and start from a place of clarity. I think clarity is very important and our intention of where we're starting is very important as well. It's not just like, oh, I want this thing, and then you do whatever you can to get there.

It's, I want this thing, and I'm going to do it in a very. I don't want to say graceful, but kind of like you want to go into something with your head on your shoulders, like level headed and pretty, pretty focused and geared up and prepared for what you're setting out to do. So I wish you the best with beginning again in whatever it is. The second thing I want to reiterate is that staying the course is probably the hardest part. Oftentimes it's easy to set a goal. It's easy to start something. It's easy to say you're gonna do this.

It's really hard to continue doing it. The consistency is the hardest part. And I can say that with, oh man, so much back history and just a lot of clients, they start and they fail. They start. I shouldn't say they fail, sorry. But they, they fail at their goal because it's hard, right? It's nothing is that simple. Cut and dry. So they want to lose 20 pounds and by March and they may be only get to 10. I've seen it a million times. It just happen. And that happens in business too. You set your goals out to get a certain ARR.

By the end of Q1, you didn't get there, you failed. However, failure is not. It sounds so harsh. And it doesn't have to be. Failure is just a lesson. It's perspective shift. It's an eye opener. It's a way to recalibrate to figure out like, okay, where do I need to get back on track? So we're never failing. But the biggest thing is still, can you stay on course when things get tough? Can you stay consistent when you fall off for a week, can you hop back on? And so number two is your rebound rate.

How quickly can you get back on the horse? How can you get back to task? How can you get back to your vision? How quickly can you get back on point with your goals? Because we have goals, we have desires. We're humans. It's only natural. So when life throws you anything but lemons, how can you learn from it? How can you sit with it even when it's uncomfortable? And how can we like navigate our way back to begin again? So rebound, right, and beginning again are pretty much hand in hand. They say konnichiwa very often.

So I've been obsessed with Japanese culture lately. I've just been reading about it and ikigai and I'm just like wabi sabi. So yeah, I've been loving Japanese culture really. So I'm gonna throw some of that in there. The final thing I want to reiterate or just iterate is that everything happens in divine time. And I know it sounds Cliche, but our. The universe's timing or God's timing, who. Whatever you believe in, is not going to look like our timeline. Right. I wanted this yesterday. It's just not going to always happen.

But I do know from my lived experience that timing is always perfect, no matter what happens. And when you look back and you're like, boy, it was a good thing that that didn't happen at that time, because then this wouldn't have happened. So connect with this and lead me to this and become this. And I think it's important to remember because our minds can get so fixated on here, the. The form of world and wanting this and attaining that, and so can we be more open and more flexible in our timelines.

It's time, though. We have time and health. Right. Last week, that's what we talked about, was health, you know, is so important, because if you're unhealthy, you're not going to have time to spend with the people you love, or money wouldn't matter. You know, and then time. We're only here for a little bit of time in this universe and on this planet, and we have to make the most of it. So no hurry, no worry. Right? Letting go of society's timeline. Yes. Rachel, you. Thank you for adding that, because that can get us caught up in our head.

Like, especially God, when I was in my twenties, when are you gonna get married? When are you gonna have kids? And even now, now that I'm engaged, people are still asking, so, when are you gonna get married? When are you gonna have kids? And it's like, hold on. Like, let's just. Let's just enjoy this life. I haven't. There's a lot going on. Like, you know, there's this pressure that we feel in our jobs, in our relationships, in our finances, in so many things. And guess what? If you're thinking about a career pivot, you can begin again.

I did that right before I turned 30. I got out of what I thought I would be, and I pivoted over to tech, and here I am. Now I'm trying to combine them both because they both matter to me. And it's hard. It was tough. I had to start from the bottom and work my way up. And that's kind of putting everything together, is we can start over, we can stay the course, and when it gets tough, we just work on our rebound. Right. Hey, Anna. You know, and get back to it. Like, when we get back in the cycle to get back into our vision and let go of the timing because it will happen.

If we stay the course, every. Anything can happen. And if it doesn't, then there's probably something better coming. I'd like to hope, I'd like to stay, keep my heart open enough to believe that. And Rachel says, seriously, 40 and not married, no kids. Sometimes it seems like that is just not acceptable. Oh my gosh. Yes. Same. I agree. I have been feeling the pressure extra and there. But now there has been this societal shift kind of about like, there's like very. They're called dinks, like dual income, no kids or something.

And like there's another saying that plants are the new dogs and dogs are the new kids. Which I heard was really interesting. I was like, oh, okay. So there. I think, you know, gosh, I love Gen Z. Sometimes they really just come up with some really great stuff. But it, you know, I, we all. Yes. And love to have kids and have this timeline, but I don't, I, I need to do it on my time, when I'm ready. And so I hope that you are letting go of those pressures. You're building the strength and confidence and poise and power within yourself to stand your ground for what you need and your vision, because your vision is not going to look like anybody else's.

It's meaningful to you. And I, I hope that as you go into February, you are, you know, reevaluating. Okay, this is where I'm at. Month one into this wild 20, 26 we are in. How's it going? Like, where do I need to kind of re. Renegotiate with myself or my colleagues or my partner to get back on track? And if I'm not on track, then what can I do to feel 1% better to get there? And so remember, we can begin again. We can work on our consistency by getting back on our rebound rate. No matter how far off we have been off of it, we rebound right back on when we can.

And no hurry, no worry. We let go because we can't control everything. We have to let go and co create, I would argue co create. Doing it all on our own is. We have a very limited mindset. There's the whole world and atoms and matter and all sorts of things that just are beyond our even comprehension. So endless possibilities. So I hope you can keep your heart open. I hope that you are beginning anew every single day and that this month has. It's been a lot for so many people and. Hey, Luke. And so I hope that, you know, you're going to take a breath, feel into this beautiful beingness that you are and that you have, and this heart that you live in, this temple that you to take care of.

And know that you can step into this next level, into this next month, and begin again at any time. Because you're never behind. You're not behind. You are only moving forward no matter what. So stay the course. Stay hydrated. I always say that because it's winter and nobody drinks enough water, including myself. I'm working on it, so. But I hope that everybody stays warm and enjoy the rest of your day. Whatever you have ahead of you, work on that rebound rate. Stay. Stay sane in this crazy world.

I'm just kidding. Love you all. Have a lovely day. See you next time. Bye, Sa.
