Find yourself in between these. In between those two moments today.
Hey, Cadre. Good morning to each of you out there in the Cadre sphere. How are you doing? A lot of life is figuring out what we're supposed to be doing with this life. Life is a piling up of the things that we say yes to, and those things existing until they don't anymore.
Today I invite you to consider. What is that thing that you've said yes to that then you have said no to? Find yourself in between these. In between those two moments today. I will see you amidst all of my yeses tomorrow.
Hey, Cadre. Good morning to each of you out there in the Cadre sphere. It is Sunday, January 11th. I'm guessing. I think it's the 11th Sunday morning. How are you doing? Always know whenever you hear that question here, how are you? I know some parts of the world, you hear that question, you go, do you really want to know? The answer here is always yes. That's why we ask. We don't say things without great purpose and great intent. So when we ask, how are you doing? We want to know how you are doing.
Marisa, how are you doing? Sarah, how are you doing? We hope that you're doing great, but if you're not, here's your daily reminder that that is a okay as well. You're. You are still incredibly capable, still incredibly worthy, Jess. That includes you, my friend. And, hey, I'm glad that I'm here. I'm glad that you're here. Speak wonder. I know the things I know and I care about you. You're gonna say yes to. Here's A lot of life is figuring out what we're supposed to be doing with this life, right?
So opportunities present. We start jobs, we start relationships. We start hobbies and tasks and. And obligations and responsibilities. We say yes to things. The interesting thing is, after we say yes to something, the next thing that happens, if we think of it this way with that thing, is sooner or later we say, no, as, I'm not gonna do it anymore, or, no, it doesn't exist anymore. The thing ended. I think life is a. Is a piling up of the things that we say yes to, and those things existing until they don't anymore.
There's that uncomfortable feeling when we go, gosh, I've said yes to too many things, or, I've said yes to the wrong things. Hey, Jules. Nice to see you. So today I invite you to consider. What is that thing that you've said yes to that then you've said no to? You took the job, and then you're like, yeah, I'm not gonna do this job anymore. I'm gonna move on. Or, yes, I formed this relationship with this person, and then I decided that it was time for us to part. Yes, I really fell in love with crocheting, but then I fell out of love with crocheting.
So for your thin space today, what is the last thing that you said no to? What is the last thing that you were doing you had said yes to that you said, you know what? I'm going to be done with this thing. Between that moment and the next moment you say, you know, I think I'm going to start, or I think I'm going to try, or I think I'm going to engage, or I think I'm going to associate, or I think I'm going to learn. Find yourself in between these. In. In between those two moments today. Because I'll tell you, when I got up this morning and even yesterday, and I was looking at the week ahead, and I go, gosh, I have too many things.
How do I say no to some of them? It's really hard to figure out how to say no to the thing that you're doing. Yet the world needs you doing the things that you feel that you are supposed to. Yes. And those things that you've said yes to that you want to say no to now, they need you to say no. They need more vocation, focused, excited energy. If you don't have that, the best thing you can do is to say, hey, not me anymore. Y' all find yourself in that thin space today. That's my invitation. I will see you amidst all of my yeses tomorrow.
