  1. 0:00Rick says he hopes his pain journey has made him a better person

I found that in a pain experience, a pain journey, on one hand, you can lose yourself for various reasons. But if you go through it a certain way, very intentionally, you also find yourself and you find that you're. better. I hope it has made me a better person.

I found that in a pain experience, a pain journey, on one hand, you can lose yourself for various reasons. Your sense of identity can be shaken. But if you go through it a certain way, very intentionally, you also find yourself and you find that you're. As I often say, and I like to encourage people that your best is greater than the pain. What's your experience been like? It is kind of weird how in some ways this has been a positive. Right. You know, and, and I hope that I'm more tolerant with people.

I hope that I say thank you. One of the things that I really try to do is to tell people I love them. That's only if it's real, right? It's not. Hey, Rick. Love ya. Yeah, okay. But if it's, you know, and, and so really let them know that. Because we assume they know, you know, and it'll startle people, right. If you've not always said that to them before, but it's okay to, to do that. And, and so I really try to. To do that, you know, and, and, and I, I hope that I really do appreciate people more.

I try to not be around the toxic people because that draws. That's a negative energy. Right. And we don't want that. So. But yeah, I. It's weird to say, but I hope it has made me a better person. This is something that I. I've just got to say it makes sense to me to. And I've been writing about this in the book as I'm making progress, that the way I've been thinking of lately is to navigate this, to be on a path to strengthen my resilience. I've got to love more. I've got to love myself more. I've got to love others more.

I've got to love God more. And to do. To do. It's just been a natural. It's been a necessary byproduct of the experience by being purposeful through the journey. Right? Yo. And there is that saying, if you can't be anything, just be kind. Yeah. Yeah. Yes.
