Cool how Luke and Jason just went across the country in this van walking for recovery. But anyways, good morning. Start to a fresh week. Give people permission to check you. Give them the key to unlock you to your next level. Reach out to three people that hold you accountable and thank them.
I'm at the March conference in St. Paul today. I actually happen to be right outside the actual Cadre van. Cool how Luke and Jason just went across the country in this van walking for recovery. But anyways, good morning.
We're at the March conference all about recovery and mental health. I challenge you tap in on the chat one to ten, ten being you're having the best day ever. Start to a fresh week.
Anila: I challenge you to reach out to three individuals who call you out or hold you accountable. She says sometimes we get distracted by the ways of the world, by our desires. Give people permission to check you. Give them the key to unlock you to your next level.
Reach out to three people that hold you accountable and thank them. If you don't have those three people, reach out and give three new people permission. You'd be surprised what comes from it. Looking forward to seeing you guys next week.
Hello. Hello. Good morning, Cadre fam. Good morning. Good morning. See, wait, give it a few minutes. Wait for some people to roll in. I have the pleasure this morning of being at the March conference in St. Paul today. I actually happen to be right outside the actual Cadre van. If you guys haven't seen it, that van is awesome. Cool how Luke and Jason just went across the country in this van walking for recovery. They literally walked across the whole country. But anyways, good morning. Good morning, everybody.
Welcome in. I'm gonna make this one quick today as we're at the March conference all about recovery and mental health. I hope everyone's doing well this morning. It's Monday. I got my coffee. We're rolling in. I challenge you tap in on the chat one to ten, ten being you're having the best day ever, and one being I need a few more hours of sleep or I didn't want to get out of bed. It is Monday. Start to a fresh week. But this morning, what I wanted to talk about quick is something that's been on my mind and in the top of a lot of conversations recently is the power of accountability, of having individuals in our lives and in our circles that can hold us accountable when they see us drift, when they see us veering off track or off the path or off the goals and things that we've set for ourselves.
We all have goals, visions, and a calling on our lives, things we want to do. And sometimes we get distracted by the ways of the world, by our desires, just all these distractions. Whether it's social media, Netflix, that girl or that guy or whatever it may be, we all have things that can draw our attention away. So today, I'd encourage us to think about what's veering us away or distracting us from the things we want to do in life. But better yet, I challenge you to reach out to three individuals who call you out or hold you accountable.
And ask them, like, hey, when you see me veering off or getting distracted, are you going to call me out? Or do you, you know, have that. Start that conversation. And if you don't have individuals that feel comfortable doing that, reach out to them and give them permission. Be like, hey, we're friends. I know you care about me. I know you love me. I. If you see me veering off or getting distracted or doing things that aren't a part of the plan, call me out on my bullshit. Call me out on my bs. Give them permission.
Even some people might not need it, but the fact that you're giving somebody Permission to call you out on your BS and hold you accountable. That's going to build the relationship and make it stronger. And just having that conversation, that open dialogue instead of having friends and people in your life that are just like, oh, I hope they call, I hope they call me out of my bs. But then once you start, once you start veering off and getting distracted and no one's calling, you know, so have people have that conversation.
Because, yeah, we veer off, we all get distracted sometimes, but we need people around us that can call us out. Right. If you feel yourself drifting a little bit or you're wondering why someone hasn't called, well, maybe that's your time to reach out to your people. Because it's a two way street. The more you open that dialogue and have that conversation, the more you know, the more help that's going to be there when you need it. Right? Keep those conversations going. Permission is key, Anila. Absolutely.
Some people don't always need it, but they feel grateful that you gave it to them. So then they can really call you out like, sis, you're tripping or bro, you're tripping. Like you said this, but you're doing this and it ain't adding up. So give people permission to check you. Give them the key to unlock you to your next level. Right. Because sometimes we all need that coach, we all need that mentor, we all need someone to just call us out and hold that mirror up to ourselves. So I'm gonna keep it quick because I'm going into the March conference.
I just wanted to quick tap in. I hope you guys have a great day. I challenge you today. Reach out to three people that hold you accountable and thank them. Thank them. If you don't have those three people, reach out and give three new people permission to reach out and hold you accountable. We all have those people. And if you don't have those people, reach out and get them going. So let's see, without permission, it may catch you off guard and field judge. Absolutely. So get those conversations going.
You'd be surprised what comes from it. So you guys have a great day. Looking forward to seeing you guys next week. I gotta get to this conference, I'm late.
